Looking for some soccer fun this summer? Va Beach Field house has summer league for indoor soccer. You can sign up as free agent or make your own team. (This is not associated with CUSA)

Youth Soccer | Virginia Beach Field House Free Agent: If you are signing up your child as an individual, not on a team, you can register them as a free agent. We will either create a House team consisting of free agents or place on a team that needs players to fill out their roster. Volunteer coaches will be needed for any VBFH House team.

REMINDER: Tryouts are June 5th!!! If you currently play on a team you still need to come tryout!
High School Players and High School season. Depending on interest you will play in the fall and/or play in tournaments. This will be established when making teams.

If your child loves soccer, stands out at Rec, wants to play at a more competitive level, CUSA is where you need to be. CUSA teaches technical skills, drills, how to work as a team, and most of all SOCCER.
Ever wonder who the kids were on the school teams that stand out. Most likely they have played or are playing for CUSA. Many kids that play CUSA are All Conference, All Region, have been All State for their High Schools their Freshman and Sophomore year because of this program and continue to be recognized throughout each season. There is a BIG difference in skill level between travel players and those that just play once in a while.
With our new Director of Coaching, Chuck King, who just moved to the area, CUSA is about to get better. Chuck who runs our Academy program also assists the coaches for each team to ensure structure in practices, advice in practice drills, and helps keep all coaches on the same track.

Congrats to the U15 Girls team for their win on Saturday. They didn’t get the win today but are playing hard and ready for the next game!

U15 boys came away with a win on Saturday 3-2 and another win today 4-1. With a new coach and new teammates these boys are working well together!!! Keep it up!!

U14 Boys had a great win Saturday 4-2 to start off their season!! They continue to grow as a team and we wish you the best this season.

U12 had a great game yesterday with a tie 0-0. Moving up a division from last season these kids keep improving every year. Keep it up.

Carolina United Spirit Wear 2022 Online ordering for Carolina United Spirit Wear 2022 ends on Tue, Mar 1, 2022 (11:59 PM EST)

Being Recruited:
•Coaches are not just going to come watch you play and recruit you.
•Players need to email at least 20-30 schools ranging from NAIA, JUCO, D3, D2, and D1. (With your highlight film) also include player resume.
•All high schoolers should be getting invites to all kinds of ID camps. ONLY go to the ones the player may be interested in. Otherwise it is a waste of Money.
P.S. this does not mean the school wants you. They send the invites out to EVERYONE.
•D2 and D1 schools will not and cannot talk to any soccer player until June 15 before Junior year.
•Fill out any and all recruitment questionnaires from the schools your player is interested in. They will then send you info and ID camp dates etc.
•You will get more $$ for academics than you will for athletics.
•Schools will choose a kid with a higher GPA than a kid with a lower GPA.
•D1 and D2 schools can only recruit if you are NCAA eligible. ($90 registration fee)
•Most Colleges recruit from Showcases and ID camps. (If interested they will then show up to a game within reason so always email your schedule) This was expressed to me personally by a D2 coach.
•Player Character and parent character are a factor in recruitment as well. Coaches are on sideline recruiting the parent along with the child.
•Players that go NAIA, JUCO, D3, D2, or D1 are AMAZING!!!!
