Our time is now spent raising our dog, cat, and chickens, growing our own produce, and slowly renovating our 200 year-old farmhouse.
We left our hectic lives in NYC behind for some peace and quiet in the country and ended up with a small hobby farm in the Western Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.

This almost lost her life today to a fox because with my broken foot I couldn’t chase it off. But this little guardian stepped in and chased it, forcing the fox to drop the chicken from its mouth, and saved her life! She’s my little ! ❤️

This popped up out of nowhere outside the and is now about 10 feet tall! It must’ve been from a rogue seed that the chickens missed when they were pecking away at sunflower heads last year. I love nature’s surprises! 🌻

It’s days like today that make this lifestyle so difficult. My best girl, Ginger, had to be put down today after being very ill for well over a month. She was quite the little fighter but I just couldn’t let her suffer anymore. She loved being held, was my best forager, and was always by my side when out in the yard or garden. I will miss her dearly 😢❤️
