Hi friends! We miss you lots and are counting the days till we're together again!
Some of you might be a LITTLE bit antsy about your grays growing out; trust us, we understand! However, now is not the time to panic! 😱 Home hair color/box color is not the answer! Reasons:
📌 Your AVEDA color 🎨 is specifically mixed for you; a box color won't match the level OR tone that's on your hair.
📌 Box color often has unnecessary chemicals, metallic salts, a high dye load and only one level of developer, which alters the ph of your hair. Using box color on your ends can darken them and it's difficult to remove without compromising your hair. And if you're blonde or have highlights, this is a definite no
📌 Color corrections are expensive and can take a long time. If your roots are too dark, we may have to "lift" through them with lightener or end up taking your whole head darker to match. 😾
💡Solution 💡
Order some temporary root color/powder online. In a pinch, even eyeshadow or mascara will do. You want something non-permanent that washes out with each wash (and we know you're not washing your hair every day like we told you, right?). 👌🏻
Trust us, we want to be doing your hair as much as you want it done! 💇🏻‍♀️ We will do our best to accommodate you as soon as we're able. Thank you for your trust and support and we can't wait to see you soon! 💕 .

We ❤️ our stylists, who are just THE best; always giving 100% of their talent, skill (and taking no shortcuts) in hopes of making your visit to sage salon the best part of your day.

Our salon assistant team, who work so hard behind the scenes (usually under mountains of laundry, color bowls and steam towels) to ensure the salon runs smoothly and up to par. We could not do what we do without them.

Our guest team, manning the phones, the front desk, the influx of emails and texts we receive, moving and changing appointments and a multitude of other projects, all while doing it with a great attitude and smile. These ladies are on top of it all the time. 💪🏼

Finally our guests, who we so enjoy seeing every day. We love catching up, laughing with you and being part of your day. THANK YOU for giving us the opportunity to serve you; it’s truly our pleasure.

This guest requested something low maintenance and was overdue for some hair TLC! Kate did a nice big cut to get rid of old brassy highlights then used more flattering tones of blonde and browns to bring her look up to date. Her grow out should be easy and she can maintain the look with just a few visits per year for highlights and a gloss to maintain brightness and tone.
