The Bobbitt Team is proud to have completed the design and construction of two brand-new 24,000 sqft flex buildings at Stony Brook Business Center in Raleigh, NC! These versatile spaces are easily accessible to North Hills and Downtown Raleigh and provide an abundance of retail, hospitality, and service amenities.

Bobbitt will be at the 2024 South Atlantic Fire Rescue Expo on Friday, August 9th and Saturday, August 10th! Swing by Booth 317 to meet Senior Business Developer, Chris Goins, and discuss your fire station needs! 🚒

: The Burlington School - Middle School Expansion 📚🍎

As the school year approaches, we're excited to highlight our latest project at The Burlington School! The Bobbitt Team recently completed a new 12,000 sqft two-story addition to their existing upper school. This expansion now houses middle school students and features seven new classrooms, a state-of-the-art lab, student and faculty bathrooms, a faculty lounge, administrative support offices, integral student lockers, and a new student gathering space. We're proud to help create a dynamic environment for learning and growth at The Burlington School! 🎒🌟✏️

: Durham Bulls Miracle League Field ⚾

The Miracle League of the Triangle, located in the heart of downtown Durham across from the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, was completed by the Bobbitt Team in 2022! This athletic complex features a synthetic turf field, walking track, and more. Miracle League is an incredible nonprofit that brings the joy of baseball to children and adults with disabilities. Bobbitt is proud to have been part of this project!

On Friday, we hosted our annual ESOP Reveal at Sports & Social Cary, where we announced our company’s 2024 stock value! Being an employee-owner is a unique and special part of Bobbitt, and we are grateful for all our amazing employee-owners who drive our success!

The Bobbitt Team recently completed a design-build project that includes 3 separate 1st generation fit-ups, totaling 10,000 sqft of Class A office space! These fit-ups are located on the third floor of the Highline Building in Downtown Apex, NC. Thank you to our design partner, STITCH Design Shop, for their collaboration on this amazing project!

Our interns recently completed a walkthrough of our upfit project at Peak City Business Park, where they learned the ins and outs of how we manage upfits from start to finish! It's great to see the next generation gaining hands-on experience and insights into the industry! 👷‍♂️

On Friday, our preconstruction team enjoyed a fun and relaxing team outing at Topgolf! It was the perfect way to bond and unwind after a busy work week! ⛳

: Paddles Swim and Pickleball Club 🏊‍♂️🏓

This 3,320 sqft amenity building in Pittsboro, NC offers the community versatile spaces for meetings, parties, and pool activities. It features a sales center, offices, a kitchen area for sales staff, a pool equipment room, restrooms, and a concession stand! Paddles Swim & Pickleball Club is a fantastic addition to Pittsboro and recently won Best Community Recreation Facility at the 2024 MAME Awards! 🏆 Bobbitt is proud to have been part of this amazing project!

Bobbitt and Evolution Safety Resources (ESR) provided MEWP training for our summer interns and recertifications for our senior Bobbitt employees! 🚧 Mobile Equipment Work Platforms (Scissor Lifts) are essential on the construction site, and proper training is crucial for everyone operating or working around this equipment.

This training covered inspection, rescue planning, personnel safety (fall protection and PPE), principles of operation, load and material handling safety, caught-in-between hazards, drops, proximity to energy sources, and more! 👷

Congratulations to Project Manager David Sapp on graduating from Leadership Alamance! Over nine months, this program educates professionals about the infrastructure, resources, and challenges of Alamance County, while fostering leadership skills, community trusteeship, and valuable connections. We are so proud of David for this accomplishment!

: Burlington Sock Puppets Entertainment Pavilion 🧦⚾️

This project was the City of Burlington, NC - Government’s first design-build project! Located at the Burlington Athletic Stadium, this new entertainment pavilion features a bar, shade structures, increased seating capacity, a revamped entryway, a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, upgraded restroom facilities, and designated social and group gathering spaces for 300 individuals. Recently, it received the 2024 Design-Build Institute of America Project of the Year award! Catch a Burlington Sock Puppets game and experience it for yourself!
