Every youth that we serve comes to us with different lived experiences, needs, and treatment goals. The one thing they all have in common is that the trauma they experienced was not their fault and does not define them.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. While this is a difficult and sensitive subject, it is incredibly important to raise awareness and let youth who have experienced abuse know they are not alone, and that the abuse was never their fault.
These slides show residential data from our last fiscal year based on youth records and self-report. It is likely these statistics are higher due to fear of reporting. Learn more about getting involved: https://www.chasehome.org/get-involved/

We asked a few of our residents what “Love is…” to them. These were their responses:
❤️“Love is… Supporting you through any struggle.”
❤️“Love is… Staying sober for my siblings.”
❤️“Love is… Love.”
You can show some love to at-risk youth in your community this Valentine’s Day with a one-time or monthly donation of $14 to support The Chase Home: https://www.chasehome.org/donate/
A donation of just $14 a month ensures stability for kids and teens rebuilding from trauma. State funding keeps the lights on. Community support from individuals, like you, helps provide for the essential elements that define childhood—such as trips to the movies, access to art and craft supplies, or special treats for holidays like today—making each day even more memorable and enjoyable.
Some things are just way too cute, like these Worry Monsters hand-stitched with care from our friends at Stitching Up The World!
Worry Monsters are creatures with magic mouths that eat up worries and fears. Kids can write down their worries on a piece of paper, feed it to their monster, and then those fear gets gobbled away.
Thank you Stitching Up the World!

Did you know The Chase Home has a home-based program that provides customized clinical and therapeutic services to families? With permanency being at the forefront of our vision, we work with families with children of all ages to maintain connectedness as they’re working toward reunification. Sometimes this means we are going to the families home, and sometimes they’re coming to our building to meet in our family visitor room- meeting our youth and family where they’re at is what we’re all about!
Shout out to for the stuffies! We are so grateful for community support of our programs!
Thank you to our friends at Northeast Credit Union for spending yesterday with us to make breakfast sandwiches so that our residents can start their mornings with a protein-packed breakfast that sets the stage for success☀️ 🍳 💛
