Here in the Lowcountry, there are just so many great venues for watching fireworks- in fact from many vantage points you'll be able to see multiple shows in the sky at once... so no matter where you are, you won't have to drive too far!

No matter how or where you watch the fireworks displays this Independence Day, we have some tips to make it a stellar 4th for all!

Arrive Early: Fireworks displays attract large crowds, so arrive early to secure a good spot. This also gives you time to enjoy pre-show entertainment and activities. Many venues will have food & drink vendors.

Bring Essentials: Pack a blanket or chairs for seating, insect repellent (those no see-ums!!)

Plan for Parking: Parking can be challenging, especially in popular areas like the beaches. ***Consider using an Uber Lyft when going downtown or any other potentially crowded area.

Do Not Drink and Drive: Please factor in how you will get home when planning your fourth of July. There will be checkpoints and plenty of police patrolling. Don’t be another statistic or risk putting others in harms way. Let's keep it safe! Take an Uber or Lyft.
