Rolla Downtown
Downtown Rolla is home to many professional services, a variety of great restaurants and retailers.
Congratulations to Rachel Guth who coordinated our Rolla Downtown Business Association Boo Palooza event! This year's event was the "best ever", packing our downtown with families, children and adults. As our Vice President, she is a tremendous leader. We are fortunate to have her working for our downtown, in addition to other organizations to make our community better.
Also we are grateful to our Rolla Public Works Department, Rolla and Campus Police Departments, Environmental Services and our City of Rolla for partnering with us to successfully bring fun family activities to our downtown! You guys are tremendous!
We also want to thank the S&T student organizations for making our event even more special each year.
🎃👻What an amazing turnout! As I was checking in with booths tonight I repeatedly heard “I didn’t bring enough candy for this” and “there is so much positive energy here tonight, this is great!” Also the question, “what am I in line for?” normally we’d say we’ll probably a game, but tonight, there were just so many people downtown there was a stream from 10th Street all the way to 6th Street on both sides.
We hope you all had a wonderful time. Thank you to every one who participated and joined us this evening.
🎃HAPPY HALLOWEEN👻
🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻
The rain is moving out and it’s going to be an amazing evening for Boo Palooza 2024! Soon Pine Street will be transformed into Halloween fun and filled with thousands of patrons from our community.
A few reminders for everyone:
🎃 Pine Street will CLOSE at 3:30 pm. Please make sure your tenants, customers and your own cars have been moved to a side street or festival lot.
👻 Vendors may start setting up at 4 pm. Please drop your items at your location and go park your vehicle.
🎃 The event is open from 5 pm - 7 pm.
👻 If you are a vendor at BooPalooza - the final map was sent this morning.
🎃 For those joining us, there is no start or end location. You may enter from any location along the route. You don’t have to stop at every booth and if there’s a line (this happens often where there is a game or fun activity) you may go around, there’s no need to wait.
👻 There will be vendors the entire length of Pine Street from 6th all the way through the end of 12th Street.
🎃 For your safety, there will be a police officer directing pedestrians across 10th Street.
We can’t wait to see all of the fun and unique costumes in Rolla Downtown this evening!
