Day 2 of the 2023 Iowa Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Annual Meeting was a success! Thank you to all who presented, and to everyone who had a hand in the planning and coordination of this event! We hope to see everyone back next year!

A great first day at the 2023 Iowa Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Annual Meeting! We can't wait for Day 2 to hear from all the great presenters!

Ann Parker, MHS, RDN, LD, and Lisa Nolting, MFCs, RD, LD (not pictured), will be sharing “CACFP Nurtures Healthy Habits for Children and Adults in Care.” This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Child and Adult Care Food Program and its goals/ tips. Dr Don Layman BS, MS, PhD will share “Optimizing Protein in a Carbohydrate World.” Dr. Layman is recognized for research on protein and amino acids for muscle health related to athletic performance, obesity, diabetes, and cardiometabolic health.
