🍂 Wood-Roasted “Brûlée” Butternut Squash 🍂
Straight from Omstead Farm, we’re serving up a new fall favorite! This butternut squash is roasted till it’s caramelized to perfection – like a true brûlée, filled with creamy burrata and drizzled with nutty brown butter. Topped with Kyle’s fresh greens, it’s the perfect blend of sweet and savory.

Bucket list, checked! 🎯 We had the incredible opportunity to dine at Piazza Duomo, a 3-star Michelin restaurant in Alba, Italy—during truffle season, no less. We opted for the truffle menu (because when in Alba, right?), and it was an absolutely exhilarating experience from start to finish. The flavors were so bold and delicate at the same time, showcasing why Alba’s truffles are world-renowned. Every dish felt like a work of art, including their famous 100 ingredient salad, and the Italian wine pairings were expertly selected.
The chef Enrico Crippa and staff were incredibly kind, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. It was an unforgettable adventure for the senses and we all left very full and happy 😜 Want to see more food? Head to stories for more!

Bar Harbor mussels, Littleneck clams, halibut, and crispy potatoes, all swimming in a rich tomato and fish brodo. Served with a side of toasty focaccia for the perfect bite.

A heartfelt grazie to Chiara and her incredibly gracious grandfather Amabile Drocco of Cascina Adelaide for welcoming us into their stunning and thoughtfully designed vineyard. The beauty and thoughtful design of their winery truly reflect the same attention to detail they put into every bottle of wine.
The exclusively designed and made custom oval barrels, designed to allow for perfect surface area contact between the wine and the wood, and the ‘eye’ of the tasting room overlooking the vast Barolo fields (they always have an eye on their wine), were just a few of the many unique touches that reflect their deep commitment to quality and innovation in winemaking.
We were so lucky to visit during the bustling harvest season and to witness firsthand the care that goes into each and every bottle. It was a memorable day surrounded by beautiful landscapes, rich tradition, and the warmth of family. Thank you for an unforgettable visit!
Note Mr. Drocco’s first bottle of Barolo produced after he purchased the vineyard in 2000!
