Young Life Middle Eurasia
Walking alongside kids, accepting them as they are, and helping them navigate life and find hope.
Since 1992, when a family from the United States moved to Russia to develop Young Life, Moscow has served as the central hub. But after investing in young adults who caught the vision for reaching the youth of their cities, Young Life now has presence in Armenia, Central Asia, the Far West, and Ukraine. Young Life leaders desiring to reach kids have found niches in many areas, such as sport and sp
What a weekend we had! We laughed, we cried, played, hugged, shared stories, and we marveled at God's beautiful presence all around us!
Thank you to all who came, served, prayed, and supported.
We can't wait to see you again in 2 years!

There is no end to creativity at the summer teen camp in Kazakhstan!
Do you recognize any of these faces?
These are graduates of the Developing Global Leaders (DGL) program, many of whom hold leadership roles in Young Life around the globe.
After graduating from a university in their country, 30% of the DGL students join the Young Life staff full-time.
Your generous support allows these young men and women to follow their calling and make a difference in the lives of future generations.
Games, quests, ropes course, beach - so many memories in just five short days at camp! Each one of these Latvian kids had an unforgettable time, and each one got to go home with the knowledge that the God of all Creation loves them and cares for them.
You are loved! π
This is the message kids with special needs hear when they come to the summer Capernaum camp in Central Asia!
Young Life summer camp - aka the Best Week of Your Life. ποΈ
These kids in Abkhazia have been waiting all year to have the experience of a lifetime! π€©
While there is joy and smiles at summer camps all over Middle EurAsia, there is also much pain and suffering caused by the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. π
Our Young Life leaders face the difficult task of living in this reality while being the ambassadors of God's love and hope. Sometimes, this task is so heavy that it seems impossible to carry out.
So, we ask you to pray for them.
These young women and men need to know they are not alone and that they have a spiritual family around the world who sees them, cares for them, and loves them.
Your prayers and support are treasured. π
Expeditions trips are in full swing this summer! βοΈ π
Here are our lovely friends and supporters from California visiting with the Young Life Armenia leaders on their recent trip. They encouraged, prayed, blessed with beautiful YL backpacks πand helped at the camp. It was an unforgettable time.π
Trips like this are a wonderful way to learn about the ministry, meet real people working with the kids, see a new place through the eyes of a local, marvel at God's creation, and be blessed!
Where do you dream of traveling?
If you are a mom, you must know what it means to take a little time for yourself. These young moms in Ukraine took a few days to relax, have fun, reflect, and hear how much they, too, are loved by Jesus!
Who is always there to walk with a teen, disciple them, teach them the ways of Christ, and lead by example?
The Young Life leader.
These young men and women are dedicated to the teens. They spend weeks, months, and years building trusting relationships and showing the next generation what it's like to follow Jesus.
Being a Young Life leader is a special calling, and we are so proud of all the young men and women who remain faithful.
What season is it? It's summer camping season!
Check out these kids having a blast at the Young Life camp in Ukraine.
God wants to touch so many hearts this summer!
Would you consider helping just one more teen to go to camp and have a chance to hear about Jesus?
You can find the giving link in the bio.
Who will be the next world chess champion? βοΈ
For these guys, a game of chess is what brings them together. They meet in the park, have a friendly competition, and build friendships. π€
In Young Life, we go where kids are. And if it means a park with a chessboard, then that's where we'll be! π
You never know whom you will meet while on a quest in Abkhazia!
Club is something these teens look forward to every week! And when the leaders prepare a quest (similar to a treasure hunt), things get even more interesting! π
There are thousands of kids hoping to experience a Young Life camp this summer.
They will spend a week away from home and have a chance to play, unplug, be kids, and most importantly, reflect and spend time one-on-one with their Creator. Each one needs your prayers.
Hundreds of leaders also plan to accompany the kids and be with them as friends, mentors, and teachers. Their task is not easy, and they also need your prayers.
Here are some immediate needs:
- volunteer leaders in Ukraine able to go with the kids (many are being drafted into the army)
- camping spaces to hold camps
- parents letting their kids go to camp (with so much uncertainty in that part of the world, there is hesitation on behalf of parents)
- hearts being open
- wisdom and discernment for the leaders
- protection and provision
- camp scholarships to bring as many kids to camps as possible
We are grateful for your support.
Spend the Labor Day weekend camping with us at the beautiful Woodleaf Young Life camp in Northern California!

Warm summer days mean picnics, smiles, and celebrations!
These special kids in Russia are loving it!
Have you heard about "Believe"? It's a discipleship movement created to raise Kingdom leaders in Armenia.
It aims to disciple a new generation of Christ-followers and Young Life leaders.
The group in the picture will undergo a special program designed to accomplish just that in the next two years.
The vision behind Believe is to unite several generations of leaders who can serve each other by encouraging each other, modeling leadership skills, and training the younger leaders in discipleship.
God is working in Armenia!
When the darkness of the future stares you in the eye, your soul will grasp for even the slightest sliver of hope. π
Perhaps you've experienced a similar season in your life journey. If so, you can probably testify to what your relationship with Jesus meant during that time.
Everything, right?
As you were walking through that dark season, Jesus was right next to you, whispering:
"I am the light to your path."
"I will never leave you nor forsake you."
"I will give you hope and a future."
You knew He was there for you.
And He wants every kid in the Middle EurAsia to know He is there for them too. β€οΈ
This summer, if given a chance to go to the Young Life camp, thousands of kids may have an opportunity to learn of His love.
Would you prayerfully consider helping them get there?
Here is how you can help:
It only takes $125.
What? - you say. Only $125?!
Yes, but $125 is unattainable for most kids in that part of the world.
It covers transportation, housing, three delicious meals a day, and all the precious camp memorabilia they can take home with them.
But what you are truly giving each child is a chance to see the light. π«
So that when their dad receives a draft notice to fight in a war tomorrow, or their mom's depression crushes their world, or their parents are persecuted, or poverty and fear are the way of life, they can know this is not the end. π
There is light, and the light is Jesus. β€οΈ
And they can put their hope in Him.
We aim to take 10,000 kids to camp this summer, and we are almost halfway there.
We need your help.
10,000 may seem astronomical, but you only need to help one.
Because for God every one is precious.
Big or small, He will do miraculous work with your gift!
Thank you for considering partnering with us.
We pray you will continue to experience God's beautiful presence in the days ahead.
We are grateful to you.
The first summer camp of 2024 in Ukraine is already here and it's the camp for our special kids! ππ»
Kids with disabilities have many needs in Ukraine, and since the beginning of the war, they have multiplied exponentially.
This year there will be 6 Capernaum camps in Ukraine.
Please pray for wisdom, love, and servant hearts. ππ»
Nearly 600 Armenian the kids had a blast at Camp Pioneer this past winter, which was transformed into the Kingdom of Narnia.
The lives of many were forever changed.
As we look at each of these faces, we wonder, 'What does God have in store for His beloved child?'
Thank you for supporting and praying for this work, the leaders, and the kids. God is using you in wondrous ways to bring about change and build something that will last for eternity.
