Sadly SIR Foxtrot got DQ’d for missing a testicle, we will be checking that again here to make sure he didn’t just hide it..

But SIR Charlie got 2nd for her class and SIR Kilo got 11th for her class. There were 24 junior does! I am so proud of our ladies!

Walking around the show today, had to take a break due to my back. It’s so nice to see everyone, and all these beautiful bunnies!

We made it to the 101st National ARBA Convention!!

We have 3 juniors, entered. Don’t plan on placing too well, we mostly came to see people and enjoy ourselves.

We will have the 2 does looking for a new home while we are here!

Jasmine went to the Washington, PA show on the 14th. She showed our young juniors, which were given good comments and told they just need to grow.

The broken blue doe is a chocolate carrier I got from Corinne. Once I am home and not in a car I will try to tag her.

Well, we are down to two showable bunnies. Not a bad thing! Just means Jasmine and I each get one to show, haha.

All the babies are still doing well.

I now believe the colors we have are;
Black
Self Black Chin
Blue Magpie
Cream

What a mash up of colors! Never thought I was have half of those in my barn ever, lol

The babies are just a little over 2 weeks old now. Since I the heat wave they have been crawling out of the nest box. So pretty much since they opened their eyes!

We have two blacks, a cream, and a black magpie. The magpie only has one stripe.. haha so I have been calling it spot.

Picture dump of the babies!

SIR Tifa is doing a great job on taking care of her babies! We’re so excited to watch this guys grow.

It looks like we have a black magpie, a cream, and I believe 2 blacks. I’ll be keeping an eye out as they grow, since they like to change.. lol

All that matters right now is that they are healthy happy babies and mommy.

So while I am at work my sister sends me these!!

After 3 years, we have babies in our barn! To say we are excited is the least we can say!!

We can’t wait to see how they develop!

I’m sad to hear this, but I totally understand. I will look into other programs, if anyone has suggestions please let me know!

02/06/2024

Put in nest boxes today and SIR Tifa looks like she is getting ready! Hopefully around the 4th we see some babies!

Between Jasmine and myself we have does bred!! Hoping to see babies next month around the 4th!

03/04/2024

It’s been a while, but I think I am finally able to say I will be breeding once again. I am super excited! Not only will I be working on making my lines stronger, but I will be working on my color project more in depth this time!

I am hoping to breathe life into this page again, especially this fall. I will be going to shows when I have the time, I will for sure be going to the 101st ARBA Convention in Louisville this year! I am hoping to also have a few to show and possibly sell while there!

Another thing I may be doing is redoing my mascot Fizzgig. I’m thinking of having her be a different color.. but I am not too sure about that. I know most know her as is, and recognize her. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So, a lot has gone on the past few years.

We are hoping to start doing some breeding in the Spring!

Maybe we’ll get to go to a few shows as well during the Fall of 2024! Hope to see ya’ll!

Not all fun colors are poor quality, but a lot can be. Be sure to do your research on a breeder if you can. Don’t be afraid to ask questions either! Mark and I will do our best to answer any questions you may have.

Bauer Sisters Mad Hatter is at OSRBA’s Mini Con! Jasmine has him entered but we cobreed and share this guy. :)

Our Story

Jasmine, Mark, and Myself (Jessica) raise and breed English Lops, Mini Rex, and Velveetens to the Standard of Perfection, set by the ARBA. Jasmine started with Mini Rex in 2013, and when Mark and I joined, we added the English Lops in 2017. Most recently we have added Velveteens in 2019 as a side project. We enjoy each of the breeds for their own reasons and hope to spread the love of the breeds to others as well.

Mini Rex we are trying to keep on the smaller side, so we have been picky on the colors we decided to bring into our herd. We are currently doing Brokens, Chocolates, and Lilacs.

English Lops have recently taken over for us all, as we love their personalities. They are all wonderful animals and we cannot be more excited to have them with us. These guys we are not focusing on color so much as we are the SOP from the ARBA, though we do have a decent variety in our herd right now. One color we are working on as a little bit of a project, is Sables and Sable Points. I (Jessica), have personally found the colors to be beautiful, and my sister has as well... so Mark just ended up along for the ride with that one.

The Velveteens are here as a side project and we would like to help the breed develop better to become a recognized breed. They are currently under a COD for the ARBA. We aren’t focusing on certain colors at the moment, but we are trying to keep to solids, due to the COD only being for them right now.

I know Jasmine got into the hobby due to her love for animals, and that is part of mine as well. I have discovered that this hobby has made me feel I belong to something. I’m also so happy at the shows and when I’m with our rabbits. I cannot thank all the people enough that have helped us get started and continue to support and help us.
