“The shaded waiting area has had an impact that is still felt to this day!”Maria, the headmistress of OLG, said.
Here’s how your contributions have helped:
☕Protection from the Elements: Our children now wait for their guardians in a safe space, shielded from the rain and sun. ☔️🌞
☕Comfortable Seating: No more sitting on dirt or mud! The assembly area provides a clean and dry place to relax.
☕A Space to Connect: Kids have a designated spot to sit, tell stories, and enjoy each other's company while they wait.
☕Restoring Dignity: This initiative promotes the dignity of every child, showing them that we truly care. ❤️
☕A Symbol of Love: Saint Basil Coffee’s support indicates true love for our community.
Together, we’re making a lasting impact! Thank you for being part of this journey.
Today is the feast day of Saint Pope John Paul II. Saint Pope John Paul II first spoke about the mission of social justice, to help our brothers and sisters in need, which inspired the creation of Saint Basil Coffee. We are humbled and honored to continue that mission today and help our partner missions provide the tools to help community members get on a better path.

Our Lady of Grace School faced an unexpected challenge when the curriculum in Kenya changed, requiring new textbooks across all learning areas. With over 2,900 books needed, they struggled to provide for their students.
Thanks to Saint Basil Coffee’s generous support, OLG equipped every student with the textbooks they need. The impact has been life-changing:
📚 One book per child makes learning easier and more efficient for both students and teachers.
📈 Academic performance has soared as students can now engage with the material independently.
💛 The children take pride in their new books, stamped with "Donated by Saint Basil Coffee, Houston USA," a reminder that they are supported and loved.
