Ludlow Fire Department

The Ludlow Fire Department is conducting testing and painting of fire hydrants from July 1st to August 30th to ensure visibility and maintenance. Please ensure that hydrants are free from brush and obstructions. This will help us ensure the fire hydrants are ready for use in case of an emergency. Thank you for your support in keeping our community safe.

Michael Steward was appointed the first ever full-time Fire Chief of Ludlow Fire Department. Congratulations!

The Ludlow Fireworks Festival will be on Saturday, June 29th from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Ludlow Memorial Park.

We will be going around in the month of June to test fire hydrants in Ludlow and Bromley.

National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is held annually during the second week of April to honor public safety telecommunicators for their commitment, service, and sacrifice. We thank you for everything you all do.

Today we began our first Emergency Medical Responder Class for our Firemen. After this class all of our guys and gals will have some type of State Ems certification to better serve the people of Ludlow and Bromley . These ladies and gentlemen will compliment our current EMT and Paramedics very well we are excited to have them grow with our dept.

We will be blessing the Safe Haven Baby Box on Wednesday January 31st at 1600 (4PM)

This evening we are landing Air Evac Life Team in the softball field by 1975 for training. We will be going over the safety of the helicopter and how to load patents in the helicopter. So if you come down to watch and take pictures please stay far back. Thank you

Police academy cadets came to the Firehouse today to detail our trucks for some community service.

It's official the Fire Department is now an educational institution and can teach EMR and EMT classes as well as Continuing Education for existing EMTs and Paramedics!This has been a big undertaking and we are very proud of it !!!
