Tiny Dog Leather Studio Story
Tiny Dog Leather Studio is comprised of Mike Powl, Sr. and Rubi Powl. We share the same last name because Rubi is married to Mike’s youngest son, Jeff. Tiny Dog came into existence in December of 2018 while we were on a family Christmas vacation in Estes Park, CO. You see, Rubi and Jeff’s oldest son, Jake, was born with a genetic disorder called Neurofibromatosis, a disorder that affects 1 in 3,000 people. We were trying to find a way to drive fundraising money for the Cupid’s Un**es Run and Children’s Tumor Foundation which led us to our combined passions. Mike Sr. has been doing leather work as a hobby since 1979 while Rubi is the creative force with a background in graphic design.
All products are handmade with 100% genuine leather with the design and creation developed by Mike Sr. and Rubi.
