Norristown has allocated U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Plan (SLFRF) funds for grants to upgrade and preserve the faƧade of historic structures.
The primary target location is in the area bound by Markley Street in the west, Walnut Street in the east, Marshall Street in the north and the Schuylkill River on the south and/or be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
Grants of up to $10,000.00 will be awarded on a āfirst-come, first-servedā basis.
