Manatee Twisters '03
We are a competitive traveling softball organization for girls 10 and younger. The second level of softball is competitive, or travel ball.
Our youngest girl is 9 with our oldest at 11. This type of league is for serious and committed players, coaches, and parents. We usually play tournaments up to two hours away every other weekend with various organizations (ISA, NSA, ASA, and USSSA).

It has been a hard but interesting week for the Manatee Twisters03 team- a team started by gathering a bunch of hometown girls who had a strong love and desire to play softball, a unique group of girls who had the work ethic and drive to be better players. For the last three years we watched the girls laugh together, strive together and grow together. It has been an absolute blessing to be part of and we are extremely proud of each and every one of our girls.
Recently, there has been an unexpected turn of events in the future of the Twisters03 team. So it is both with a heavy heart yet a feeling of excitement that we announce that the Twisters03 have decided to separate and branch out of Manatee county in hopes of furthering their development as softball players. Allie J, Ashley, Gilyan and Birdie have moved over to the Sarasota Heat 03 organization and the other half- Aly T, Jayme, Jocelyn, Olivia and Sydney were chosen to join Team Mizuno, also out of Sarasota.
I suppose nothing lasts forever, and this sure was a sweet ride. As one door closes, another one opens, and so it is, for our beloved Twister team. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your ongoing support, generosity and encouragement. It has meant so much to us Twister families over the years. Please continue to follow along in our journey through our new respective teams.
Finally, and most importantly, although the girls may now be playing on two different teams, everlasting friendships were made and there is no doubt, they will always be Twister Sisters for life!

Girls did AWESOME against that older team today! We played the number one seed but unfortunately we lost 1-4, but way to play as a team and at such a high level!!! It will only get better. Looking forward to moving up and the 2015 season!
