A Sterling Performance
A Sterling Performance sells handmade jewelry - made by me in my studio. You can see examples of my jewelry at www.kzoretic.etsy.com.
A portion of the profits go to purchase school loaner horns for beginning band students at Bowling Green High School and Warren East High School. I make all m own jewelry - either fabricating many of the components myself - or purchasing special components and creating my own designs for them. Please come by and take a look around.
Christmas with friends at Eaglestone!
I have had a unique and enjoyable experience for the past several days! I was able to participate in the “Over 50 Citizen’s Academy” of Bowling Green, Ky! Participants spent five days learning about and/or visiting a great many of the programs, departments and people who are responsible for success of the operation of our city.
I’ve occasionally heard of events which were so great they would “knock the roof off” - however, our Friday presentations did have that degree of excellence because the roof of the historic Taylor Chapel Church on College Street where we were located, actually DID come off - at least a part of it!
I send a huge “Thank You” to Bowling Green’s Neighborhood Services Provider, Karen Foley, for coordinating this weeklong event and bringing us the remarkable people who explained many of the programs and procedures our city uses to provide the many services that we seldom think about. Ms. Foley did a remarkable job keeping all of us on target and on time. Thank you BG for this program and thank you, Ms. Foley! Proud to now be a graduate of the “Over 50 Citizen’s Academy!!!
I may look for some "bun" feet for my trunk "coffee table"! I always enjoy watching Zeb and Jami on "Waste Not Wednesday"!
