Shoulder and Neck exercises to improve movement and reduce tension Push-ups can be modified many ways. They are great overall upper body strengthener.
Did you know that planks and leg raises are great for eliminating back pain, by strengthening the core and hip flexors?
Tip: Keep your spine lengthened, ie your torso straight. Be conscious not to round your upper back.
Note: Each of these are powerful exercises. Even if you're an "Advanced" yogi, you will benefit from any of these.
I have found that many of Abi's moves/asanas on her videos are advanced, even those that appear simple. That's why I like seeing the variations.

Yoga has been such an interesting journey, filled with serendipity and new lessons.
Of all of the challenges I have faced this year, restarting my yoga practice and daily devotion to it, and completing my Yoga Teacher Training, has been a joy, an honor, a blessing, and an accomplishment.
I have definitely realized that I want to forever be a student, and last night's super-amazing class gave me an epiphany about the significance of strength in our yoga practice and in our lives. I shared (the essence of) it with my instructor tonight.
Furthermore, I was fortunate to have had a 1:1 class with my instructor! I have taught 1:1s several times over the years, but never as student. Having that personal coaching was wonderful! I highly recommend it!
