The abbreviation FUK stands for Fukuoka International Airport, named after an expression of travel. Now that you know a little about the history of this whiskey, delight yourself with this simple and delicious recipe. Ingredients: (2:1 Ratio) - Ice, for stirring - 2 ounces FUK whisky - 1 ounce sweet vermouth - 2 dashes Angostura bitters - 1 Luxardo cherry or other cocktail cherry, for garnish Instructions: - Fill a mixing glass a few inches high with ice. - Add the FUK whiskey, vermouth and bitters. Stir in a circular motion for about 30 seconds, or until the drink is very cold. - Strain the liquid into a coupe or martini glass. - Garnish with a cocktail cherry.
