Just completed this little project. PA flagstone patio and dry stack cabinet housing a Fire Magic flat top griddle w doors/ drawers. Turned out nice if I do say so!

It’s demo day!

There is no point in building a retaining wall if you don’t waterproof the dirt side, put in 4” perforated pipe covered with gravel, and provide an outlet for the water at the bottom of the wall. If you don’t, eventually the wall will fail. This wall also has vertical and horizontal rebar reinforcing with poured mortar cells for added strength. Do them right the first time and you won’t have to ever have them replaced.
