Toad's Cove celebrates grand re-opening after devastating fire The family-owned Toad's Cove Convenience Store, held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its grand re-opening today, nearly one year after a devastating fire.

Tomorrow, Friday May 24th is the day! The grand reopening of Toad's Cove! Ribbon cutting is at 11 am.
Last year on Friday night of Memorial weekend was the devastating fire. With God's grace our beautiful store is here! Hop in and come see us!

Over the last month we've been working our butts off (sometimes 12 hr days) to open as soon as possible. With that said, we just need two more days!

Toad’s Cove set to reopen almost one year after devastating fire Toad’s Cove is a convenience store and car wash in the community of Centerville, north of Trempealeau, which was destroyed in a fire last year.

Yesterday was the start of products. This is just the first load!

We have one position left to fill! Cook! 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳🍴. Monday thru Friday (no weekends!).
6am to 2pm.

1 week down, 1 more to go until we can reopen the gas pumps ⛽️, car wash 🚗🚿, and dog wash! 🐕🚿.
We ran had a couple of hiccups but DBS Group and the subs got through it! Hopefully I'll be posting good news next Friday! God is good! ✝️

For those who asked for an application and haven't returned them, I will be interviewing this week and next for clerks. Please reach out if you want to schedule a day/time. We have 2 shifts left. 12:30pm to 10:30pm.

Reminder..... All of Toad's Cove will be shut down beginning at 9am on Monday April 8th to move over the gas lines and get ready to reopen in May. We are looking at being down for 2 weeks! That means, no CAR WASH, no DOG WASH and NO GAS. Ugh, I know we hate it too but we have to suffer before we see the greatness! Come fill up and wash the car and the dog on Sunday! We are getting closer! Thank you GOD! The weather for this process has been amazing!

Next step..... the gas pumps power and communications need to be moved from the temporary shed to the new store. This process will take a couple of weeks unfortunately. This means gas/parking lot will be down for this time. As long as this is happening, it is a perfect time to get the black top ready and painted! All cars/truck will need to be out of the area until this part of the project is completed.

Beginning APRIL 8TH THRU APRIL 19TH!

📢 the car wash is now open! Perfect timing after a rainy day! 🌧 Here is the story...we were on our last forced retirement vacation 🛳 when the car wash went down. We reached out to the company who installed it originally for help since we would be gone a week. We were told they were too busy and didn't have the man power to help. The parts were ordered and ready to be installed when we got home.
If you can't get something done, do it yourself! Wash away! 🚗🚿🐸
