Flag Poles For a Cause
Created to help raise money to install flag poles for wounded warriors and for the families of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.
Flag Poles For a Cause was created to install flag poles for wounded warriors, and to the families of those who have paid the ultimate price for freedom. There are many patriots among us who have sacrificed more than we can imagine. The American flag symbolizes freedom and what these patriots have sacrificed for. Installing flag poles is our way of showing appreciation and saying “thank-you”. Ever
We had an amazing time in Idaho installing 10 poles for some very well deserving Veterans/Veteran families. We hope to get back up there soon! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
This past weekend, we had the privilege of putting together a surprise Welcome Home party for one of our own !
Chase joined our Board early last year and shortly after, was deployed to Eastern Europe, where he spent nine months.
We were honored to be surrounded by Chase's friends and family and be there to show our support. Welcome back, Chase! Thank you for your service! 🇺🇸
Merry Christmas from our families to yours!! For those not home this holiday season, may you and your families be blessed with safety and comfort!!
This Veterans Day, pause to acknowledge and appreciate the extraordinary contributions of US veterans. Their courage and sacrifices have secured the liberties we cherish. Thank you to all veterans for your selfless service and commitment to our nation. 🇺🇸
Our team spent the day installing poles for six different heroes. It was our absolute honor to celebrate them, their families, and their service. We can't wait to share their stories with you.
Going into this weekend, we are happily taking some extra time to honor more amazing Veterans.
We hope you all take some time to reflect on the sacrifices made by these courageous men and women. Their dedication to duty and the protection of our freedom deserves our heartfelt thanks.
Special shout out to this amazing Utah Veteran. Thank you for your service Sloan, it was an honor to install your flag this week. 🇺🇸

Patriot Day 2023
Monday, September 11th, 2023 marks the 22 year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight 93 which crashed in suburban Pennsylvania. Patriot Day serves as a remembrance of the lives lost on that September morning.
By a joint resolution approved 12/18/2001, (Public Law 107-89) has designated September 11th of each year as "Patriot Day" which also directs the flags be lowered to half-staff for the entire day on September 11.
Another install from our recent trip to New Mexico.
Henry Medlin served in the U.S. Navy during and after the Vietnam War.
Thank you for your service Henry! 🇺🇸
Big shout out to for helping us set up this round of installs. It was wonderful collaboating with you.
Today, we come together to celebrate the incredible spirit and history of our great nation. As fireworks light up the sky and barbecues sizzle with mouthwatering delights, let us take a moment to reflect on the significance of this special day.
The 4th of July commemorates the birth of the United States of America, marking the day when our founding fathers declared independence from colonial rule. It symbolizes the bravery, resilience, and unwavering commitment to freedom that defines the American spirit.
On this day, we honor the sacrifices made by those who fought for our independence and the countless heroes who continue to defend our freedoms. It's a reminder that we are privileged to live in a land of opportunity and liberty, where dreams can become reality with hard work and determination.
Whether you're enjoying a backyard barbecue, watching a parade, or spending quality time with loved ones, let's make this day a celebration of all that makes America special. Let's cherish the values of freedom, equality, and justice that have defined our nation's history and continue to guide us toward a better future.
Wishing you all a safe and joyful 4th of July! Wave your flags high and make memories that will last a lifetime. 🇺🇸
Say hello to Frank Pierce 👋🏻
Frank served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Frank was in charge of unloading ships (not boats).
He told us “If the service members in Vietnam wore it, threw it, shot it, or slept in it” he was in charge of unloading it and getting it to them to be used.
Proudly serving our country for more than 30 years, Frank is just another fine example of a true American Patriot, and it was an honor to meet him and present his Flagpole to him. 🇺🇸
Thank you for your service Frank!
Gino Attardi served as a Weapons Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Gulf War.
After his disability, he was still willing and able to start a veteran non-profit called the Healing Road Foundation. This wonderful non-profit gives Veterans, and their children a chance to heal broken relationships through outdoor activities.
A true Patriot who is still serving those who have served. 🇺🇸
As if starting his own non-profit wasn't enough continued service, he also helped us arrange installs for several flagpoles on our recent trip to New Mexico.
It was great to team up and partner with him to present some flagpoles this spring.
Thanks for your service and friendship Gino!
"When we honor our flag, we honor what we stand for as a nation - freedom, equality, justice and hope" - Ronald Reagan
On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the flag design, known as the Stars & Stripes.
In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation establishing a national Flag Day on June 14, 1949, and President Harry Truman signed the legislation that made it a national day.
During the formation of the Continental Army, different units fought the British under their own flags rather than the U.S. flag, as it did not yet exist.
In an effort to create one united fighting force, the Continental Colors were created as the first American Flag.
In 1777, the Continental Congress wrote articles of confederation, which stated, "the flag of the United States be 13 stripes, alternate red and white,” and that “the union be 13 stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation.”
On June 14, 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation establishing a national flag day on June 14.
Then, in 1949, President Harry Truman signed the legislation to make it a national day.
Warmer weather means we get to get back to doing what we love - installs! 🇺🇸
Meet Ed Vigil. Ed served seven years in the Marine Corps, then transferred to the U.S. Air Force, where he retired.
As if that wasn’t enough service to his country, Ed went back into Iraq and Afghanistan as a civilian attached to the U.S. Army.
From Grunt to High Tech Satellite and Communications Specialist, Ed has proven that a man can indeed spend most of his life in the service to his country.
Spanning from the Vietnam era all the way to the OIF/OEF era. We are indeed grateful to present this flagpole pole to a humble servant of more than 47 years.
Thank you for your service Ed!
May we never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Enjoy the day with your loved ones, and don't forget to think about those who served and sacrificed.
Happy Memorial Day!

We had the opportunity to install a flagpole today for a family who lost their soldier. We hope they will know they are loved and appreciated each time they see their flag flying. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

We had an awesome install this evening for a very deserving veteran.
We met Leo over a year ago through another awesome veteran nonprofit VetCave. Leo’s service didn’t stop with his service in the Army. He is constantly busy helping other veterans and making the world a better place.
It was our honor to install this pole for you Leo! Keep up your good work, and thank you for your service!
To our men and women in uniform; past, present, and future- Thank You! 🇺🇸
We hope that all who have, and all who are still serving have a wonderful veterans day.
We were grateful to meet the Jorgensen family this year. Jacob served in the army reserves and deployed to Ramadi, Iraq where he performed route clearance. Jacob was struck by multiple IED's throughout his time in Iraq.
Continuing Veterans week we would like to introduce you to Jared.
Jared was a Marine who served both in Iraq and Afghanistan. Where he was injured and unfortunately ultimately retired from service.
It was an honor to meet you Jared and we wish you the best on your road to recovery. You and your family are wonderful Patriots.
With Veterans Day coming up this week we wanted to take the opportunity to spotlight some very special Veterans we have recently gotten to know.
Meet Rich Howard. Rich was a Crew Chief with the U.S. Airforce. He served proudly on several different aircraft. He is a staunch supporter of the Military and even stoops low enough to support our team members who served in the Army.
Rich had what we consider to be one of the most honorable jobs in the military. Rich and his crew were instrumental in flying much needed supplies to the war torn countries of Iraq and Afghanistan. Once the supplies were unloaded it was up to Rich and his crew to load up and transport Wounded and Killed in Action Service members and bring them safely out of the war.
Rich even went so far as to make and serve these wounded soldiers Cookies making their journeys home a little less bitter.
It was an honor to meet you sir and we hope you enjoy the opportunity to show your pride in this Country with your new flagpole.
As Veterans day approaches if you happen to see Rich please thank him for his service.
