Sunnybrook Community Church
Sunnybrook is a place where everyone's welcome, nobody's perfect, and anything's possible.
Our mission at Sunnybrook Community Church is...
Seeking those who don't know Jesus
Growing those who do
Sending those who will

Thank you to Terry and Jan King for sharing their story with us on Sunday! In April of 2023, they received the news that Terry was diagnosed with dementia and Parkinson's disease. They have been able to navigate this because of their strong faith and their community of friends and family at Sunnybrook.
As Jan mentioned in the video, we are excited to start our new Memory Caregivers Support Group on August 14, at 12:00pm. For more information, and to sign up, click on this link, https://bit.ly/3Yhzxmu.

Tomorrow, we will continue our series, "The Lost Virtues," by looking at the virtue of loyalty. This week we will dive into loyalty in our marriages, friendships, and most importantly, our loyalty to God. Join us in-person or online at 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00 or 10:00 at the Sunnybrook City Centre.
Interested in a short-term mission trip?
Join us this Sunday, July 21, in the Living Room at 9:45am to learn more about our upcoming trip to El Salvador! We will share about our partner organization, what the week will entail, and details regarding the cost and the dates of the trip.
You can go deeper with the message from every Sunday, with our study guides and daily devotions! You can find the study guides in the lobby or online. The daily devotions can be accessed through the app.
Interested in building meaningful relationships with students and helping them grow in their faith? Serve as a small group leader with another adult and students of the same grade, each week.

"The lie that launches a million sins is that God is not a good Father who will take care of me." Lydia Miller
As Laurie led us all in prayer over our country today, we know that no matter where you stand politically, yesterday's assassination attempt was shocking and shattering to our nation. It's in these times we need to be reminded of the sovereignty of our God, that Jesus is our firm foundation, and to pray for our country.
Join us in praying for the peace of our nation. We thank You for sparing the life of our former president and we pray for the families of those who were killed or injured. We ask Lord that You would work to restore the United States of America, and that we will come together and work toward common goals instead of being divided by our differences.
Join us tomorrow as we continue in our series, ""The Lost Virtues."" See you tomorrow in-person or online at 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00 or 10:00 at the Sunnybrook City Centre.
Check out ways in which you can pray for those who've been impacted by the flooding, including practical and spiritual areas.
Sunnybrook is a place where everyone's welcome, nobody's perfect, and anything's possible.
Next week, our high school students will be going on the summer trip. Please join us in praying for the preparation of camp this week and for life changing events next week, while they are at camp.
If you would like to commit to praying for a specific student, comment PRAYING, and we'll send you the name of a student attending camp.
We are so thankful for the countless volunteers who have stepped up and have been FOR Siouxland!
“The reason our culture is dishonoring is because people aren’t honoring God.” Pastor Jeff
Join us tomorrow as we start a new five week series, "The Lost Virtues." Over the next five weeks, we will cover the lost virtues of honor, purity, loyalty, integrity, and gratitude. See you tomorrow in-person or online at 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00 or 10:00 at the Sunnybrook City Centre.
🚨 HELP NEEDED🚨
In response to the great need of our neighbors and friends, we will be hosting a flood specific Saturday Serve tomorrow, July 6th beginning at 8:30 AM. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus for those around you, Sunnybrook! You are making an eternal impact in the lives of many.
Honor. Purity. Loyalty. Integrity. Gratitude.
Are these virtues a thing of the past?
Did we leave true character behind?
Or are these lost virtues ones we can work to recover?
Join us on Sunday mornings in person or on KTIV and the CW for a new sermon series, "The Lost Virtues." We will unpack together how to restore these needed virtues in our families, in our homes, and in our own hearts.
You can also join us Sunday downtown at the City Centre at 10am, or on our website or YouTube page.
Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸
We pray you have a safe and fun holiday!
It was a blessing to finish our series with the beautiful testimonies of what God has done to transform hearts and lives forever in some of our members at Sunnybrook. These testimonies were only possible because seeds of the Spirit were sown in their lives.
"We sow, God grows. In the waiting we cling to faith, we pray, we persevere, and we trust that God and His Word and His promises are true." Erich Erdman
