Hope for Hearts-501(c)3 charity dedicated to funding schools in conflict countries. We help kids move from Poverty to Prosperity and further WORLD PEACE!
Education is paramount. If provided the means to an education, a child can soar into a thriving member of society. Hope for Hearts works to prevent future generations of children from ending up on the streets. Our schools are operated lovingly by local nuns, and former graduates come back to support the children because they know how hard it can be. Education is at the heart of our work, providing

Our founder, Cristen Jacobsen left this world with grace in January. Our devastated 💔beats on to honor a woman who gave back to the Ugandan children. She will be missed. She will forever live on in our ❤️. On Friday, March 25, 2022, we will celebrate her beautiful life.

The playground is empty.
Father Mugagga called me with an update on COVID-19 and our schools. They are now closed for 42 days. He said as of now, everyone is still healthy. The teens at St. Elizabeth Girls Academy shelter in place, but the young ones at Kankobe Children's Home went back to what we call foster families.

Our Story
Hope for Hearts currently supports children attending two schools, St. Elizabeth Academy Uganda and Kankobe Children’s Home, guiding them through their personal resurrection. No longer do these children have to beg on the streets, wondering where their next meal will come from or if they’ll have a warm place to sleep at night free from the elements. The safety, security, and stability that our schools offer, bring a new vigor to the student’s lives so that they are free to grow and continue in their personal resurrection until they are able to independently provide for themselves.
When you sponsor a child you help provide a hand-up in their education, and their journey to adulthood through mental, physical and spiritual guidance. Thank you for helping us provide the bare necessities to lift these children to new heights.
