This made it possible for us to raise them without antibi
I knew it made delicious baked goods and great cooking oil, but I didn't realize it was THIS healthy! Apparently Weston A. Price tests found pastured lard with Vitamin D levels of 10,000 IU per Tablespoon! We love our better than organic lard even more now than we did ten minutes ago. Even so, we still have several tubs of extra for sale from our last pig if anyone needs to up their vitamin D levels naturally, or just wants to make the best pie crusts in town. It's been frozen solid since rendering, and is just like new. http://www.thehealthyhomeeconomist.com/lard/
Lard: Why (Pastured) Pig Fat is Where It's At! | The Healthy Home Economist Lard is a healthy, traditional fat but only if sourced from a quality pastured pig farm. Conventional sources are toxic and highly processed.

Remember....
The other day my Aunt Geanie stopped by our house for a few minutes. Eliora saw her coming up the sidewalk and popped open the mail slot in our front door (right at her eye level) saying, "Hiii! Do you have any dead rabbits in your freezer?! ...Um, we'll work on more politically correct advertising very soon. I'm glad Geanie is a farm girl!
