Today is green smoothie day and a red and green harvest.. eating all the colors of the rainbow! The smoothie has 7 plant varieties in it .. cucumber, celery, Swiss chard, apple, kiwi, basil and a lime! I also added a scoop of protein powder! So good! I am going to try to have a green smoothie everyday during garden season.
I had some leftover so I made some ice pops! They will be great to have after working in the garden! ♥️

Fresh cut flowers from my yard! It is so nice to go out and walk the yard and cut a bouquet of lovely flowers!

We are so excited to announce that our daughter Caroline & Steven are making Luca a big brother.. coming soon in September! He is very excited to be getting a baby sister… and so are we! What a sweet family they will be! So happy for you!

We got back the photos from our daughter and son in laws wedding recently and I have been reflecting.. this group of photos is all about family.. our growing family! We are missing little Freyr in the photos .. he was with the baby sitter .. but I am so thankful for all of these children and their spouses and the four little ones.. we are so blessed by all of you. ♥️ So happy to welcome Scott to the family.

One week ago we celebrated the marriage of our beautiful daughter and her special husband. It was a day filled with so much warmth and love for the two of them.. surrounded by their wonderful and supportive friends and families. They will feel this love forever. We love you both so much!♥️

Sometime you just are in the mood for a good burger.. today was one of those days! I wanted to try out this burger bun recipe.. they were delicious! I would make these again for sure! Homemade buns, homegrown tomato and homegrown and homemade pickles and cabbage slaw.. you can’t go wrong with that!

We are so happy to present our newest little prince! Freyr is the sweetest little guy! He is so calm and makes the cutest little sounds.. what a blessing he is! I have been enjoying being with my daughter and her husband and daughter Emilia.. she will get her own post because she deserves it for being such a terrific big sister!

I have had such a wonderful time watching this sweet boy for the last few months while his momma started back to work.. but he will be starting daycare tomorrow. I have loved our GiGi/Luca time!🥰 .

The strawberry patch is still going strong! These are so big and enjoyable..I pick this amount every morning .. still lots of flowers and green berries coming.. it’s been a good year!

I am thrilled.. this is my first garlic harvest! It is amazing to watch things grow in the garden.. I planted these in October and harvesting May 28th. I have 53 bulbs! Now I will cure them for a few weeks and clean them up a bit and braid them to hang for long term storage. I may dehydrate some and process them into garlic powder and I may cure some in olive oil too! I love having options!🥰

Got to visit this sweet face .. we had a fun day at the zoo and got up close with a sleeping bear!

Last weekend ..I had fun playing with flowers… they were for a bridal luncheon for a friend. I bought in a bunch of flowers.. but pulled a lot from my garden to rounded it out.. I was happy how they came out!😊

I am so happy to announce our new sweet little boy.. Luca Anthony Bonanza! He came in to this world on March 14th weighing 6 .3 lbs. and 2weeks early!💙our first little prince in the family..mom , dad and baby are all doing wonderful and loving on this dear bundle!! We have been so blessed!

I love watching my garden grow from start to finish! Here is the beginning.. cool weather crops and cool flowers are started and will be going out to harder off to the change of temperature.. they don’t mind the cold and can get an early start.
Time to start the next wave of warm weather crops like tomatoes peppers and many others! Beginning March 1st. 7b 🌼🥦🌱🌸🥬🧅🌼
