Last call on bareroot plants! Tomorrow we will start potting up all the unclaimed bareroot trees, shrubs and vines. We will be removing the bareroot option from each variety as they are potted, so you don't need to worry about whether or not it is still available bareroot - if it still has a bareroot option on our website it's still available bareroot! Get those bareroot plants on hold soon before it's too late!

Strawberry 16/03/2024

We have just added organically grown Strawberry plants to our website! We have both Albion and Seaside varieties. You can see them here: https://www.prettyedibleplants.com/strawberry.html #/
We have also added some new varieties of filbert including Polly-O, Theta, and Wepster. Check them out under the nut and filbert section of our website.

Strawberry Strawberries are one of the first fruits to mature in spring and one of the easiest to grow. They make an excellent, attractive groundcover which can be used to fill in borders, keep down...

See anything flowering outside right now? I do! Our filbert trees are putting on catkins (see example image below) which are petal-less flowers that produce pollen (so they are male flowers). I think it's so cool to walk outside into the cold and see the filbert trees literally growing! Such neat trees!

If you were hoping to get filbert trees this year you are in luck! We just added filberts to our website. You can find them here: https://www.prettyedibleplants.com/filbert--hazelnut.html #/ Very limited quantity right now. We are looking at getting more, but the ones listed are the ones we are certain on at the moment.
