SUMMER SPLASH HIGHLIGHTS: Congrats to Kena Davies, winner of the Granny Basket Saturday and Greg Underwood, winner of the "Grandpa" Basket on Sunday. Winners were drawn from the Senior Incentive entries. Our amazing announcer Jo Alexander makes the baskets! Congrats to the random drawing winners of the IMPACT Wrench and the 5-Star Saddle Pad. (I apoligize for not having the names- Becky).

SPLASH HIGHLIGHTS: Special Thank You's to Crossfire Steakhouse & Cantina, part of the Circle T Arena for sponsoring the ice to keep our contestants hydrated in the warm up pen and the spectators hydrated in the lobby area! Shout out to Boomer Bites for sponsoring random draw prizes!!

SPLASH HIGHLIGHTS: CTBRA Youth Ambassadors organizized the Water Balloon Toss and served watermelon by the Pool. The Watermelon Party is a yearly favorite at the Summer Splash. The Watermelon has been sponsored each year by the DREW COWGIRLS (Crystal, Taylor, & Talon) and their business, Hohertz Pumping. Nancy Blackstock is the Youth Ambassador leader and the CTBRA Special Events coordinator!

SPLASH P*E WEE HIGHLIGHTS: Hugh shout out to Becki Sanchez-Rodriguez (mother of PW rider Zoey Rodriguez) for securing sponsors and overseeing the daily prizes for the P*e Wee riders! CTBRA also appreciates everyone who supported the Splash T Shirt PW fundraiser!

SPLASH HIGHLIGHTS: Thanks to Conquer Equine for sponsoring the High Stakes Buckle and Congratulations to High Stakes 1D Winner - Ava Garcia (15.817) and HIgh Stakes 2D Winner Ashley Schoppa (16.598). MVP donated several Goody Bags with a free tube of Breath O2 Paste and a $100 Gift Certificate. MVP rep Alissa Burson was on site Saturday to answer questions and redeem certificates! One lucky winner was Jan Epperson, who has been a faithful MVP product user for years! CTBRA would also like to thank Nancy Blackstock (long-time CTBRA member and director-emeritus) for the very inspiring Church service on Sunday morning!

Good morning Barrel racers this is Becky. I am driving to Hamilton now and there is road construction as you get closer to the arena on Highway 36. They have everything down to one lane so allow extra time to get to the race this weekend.

CTBRA: SPLASH NEWS FLASH: There are still a few openings in Friday Morning (10:30am) session and the Saturday morning (10:30am) Session!! We do expect them to sell out before the race! There are still some exhibitions left for the Friday /Saturday afternoon sessions. Enter before 6pm Wednesday (7/10) to be in the early pre-draw, especially if you are riding multiple horses!! On Line entries stay open and you can enter on site with No Late Fees. Weather Looks Great for the Weekend!

Super fun dog Race today at the CTBRA race at the 377 Arena LLC in Stephenville! Rocky was not able to defend his first place (2022), but came in 2nd Place in the Large Dog Class. Thanks to my very special friend, Remi, for being his "holder / release" at the other end of the arena!

Attention Barrel racers and dog race competitors. We are just now starting the 25 pole exhibitions and then we have 25 pole runs. Then we’re gonna go right into 41 Barrel exhibitions and try to move those along as fast as we can. And then we have a very large dog race. We’re going to try to run those three classes just as fast as we can. just please be patient because it does not look like the exhibitions for barrels and the open 2 o’clock will start on time. Our announcer Joe was wonderful about keeping everybody moving during exhibitions. We appreciate your understanding and we do realize how important it is to start on time, especially with those of us said administered pre-race medication‘s, thank you so much.
