A SERIOUS NOTE ABOUT HEART ATTACK
This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about heart attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.
For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer . It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep.
Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.
A cardiologist says if everyone who reads this message sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read this & Send to a friend. It could save a life. So, please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about.
ANTIOXIDANTS come up frequently in discussions about good health and preventing diseases. These powerful substances, which mostly come from the fresh fruits and vegetables we eat, prohibit (and in some cases, even prevent), the oxidation of other molecules in the body.
WHAT ARE SOME RECENT BREAKTHROUGH ANTI-AGING TREATMENTS?
Anti-aging is one of the biggest sectors of the skin care market and it’s constantly innovating and presenting us with new products. Whether it’s new formulas or updated ways to use products, there’s always something innovative to try in the fight against aging. Other than a beautiful SMILE with healthy teeth, take a look at four suggestions, including antioxidants to beautify your appearance, beauty from the inside shows in the outside.
1. Dark Spot Correctors
UV damage can manifest in skin decades after the original damage was done. Once they appear, sun and age spots have a way of making the skin look a lot less youthful. Dark spot correctors help brighten and exfoliate dark spots. Look for products with formulas containing Vitamin C, ferulic or azelaic acid. A product with Vitamin C and E, gently exfoliating Lipo-Hydroxyl Acid (LHA) to reduce the look of years of sun damage and reveal more radiant, younger-looking skin.
2. At-Home Peels
If you want to take your anti-aging efforts to the next level try an at-home peel. One that is a gentle and leave-on peel with Glycolic Alpha Hydroxyl Acid (AHA) and Vitamin C. It gently evens skin tone and helps reduce the appearance of dark spots over time with continued usage revealing more radiant-looking skin. Use a dime size amount of the peel on your skin then follow-up with moisturizer to hydrate and restore skin.
3. Vitamin C
You’ve always known that Vitamin C is good for your body, but did you know it’s also great for your skin? Vitamin C can help brighten the skin’s appearance and can make it appear more youthful. This antioxidant helps fight free radicals and can replenish your skin after it’s exposed to pollution. Vitamin C can help your skin stay beautiful-looking longer.
4. Sleeping Cream
Your skin can do some of its best work at night, particularly if you provide it with the right products. A sleep cream or sleep mask is a product that goes on like a lotion or moisturizer but is effectively hydrating like a mask. Sleep creams formulas can help smooth fine lines, restore elasticity and increase brightness all while you’re counting sheep. When you use it before bed it helps renew, firm and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Importance of the Primary Dentition
Primary teeth start to erupt in children from the age of six months. The primary dentition is complete by approximately two and a half years of age. The enamel of primary teeth is less densely mineralized than the enamel of permanent teeth, making them particularly susceptible to caries. Primary teeth are essential tools, both for chewing and learning to talk. They help to break up food into small pieces, thereby ensuring efficient digestion.
A full set of teeth is an essential prerequisite in learning correct pronunciation. Primary teeth also play a vital role in the proper alignment and spacing of permanent teeth; it is therefore imperative that they are well cared for and preserved until normal ex-foliation takes place.
Parents establishing a proper oral care routine early on in life sets the foundation for the development of healthy and strong permanent teeth. In addition to good oral hygiene, diet also plays a key role in keeping teeth healthy. In this respect it is not only the quantity of sugar that is important, but also the frequency of consumption. As much as possible, children should be limited in the amount of sweets between meals, especially in the evening or at night.

“DENTAL TRUTH ”
The foundation for healthy permanent teeth in children and teenagers is laid during the first years of life. Poor diet, poor habits of food intake and inadequate tooth brushing habits during the first 2 years of life have been shown in several studies to be related to tooth decay in children. The development of caries in primary teeth further increases the risk of developing caries in permanent teeth.
Therefore,
it is essential to establish a proper oral hygiene routine early in life to help ensure the development of strong and healthy teeth.
Parents, as consistent role models, are key for setting a daily routine and to making their children understand the importance of oral hygiene.
Tooth brushing should be presented as a habit and an integral part of the daily hygiene routine. Children are very sensitive to social stimuli such as praise and affection, and learn best by imitating their parents. Physiological and mental development affects the oral care of children.
Importance of Primary Dentition (moms call them baby teeth). I hear mothers making the MISTAKE of saying, “I didn’t worry because it’s only a baby tooth.” Is it important? YES it is, it’s the first set of teeth which start erupting from the age of six months and establishing a proper oral care routine early with your child is of the most importance.

They will explain to your child, what happens on his/her first visit. Building confidence on their first experience while sitting on the dental chair will make them relax and comfortable. 201-679-0949 Nidia R. Lopez

“REMEMBERING A WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL LADY”
Picture of Nidia & Mary DePascale, who was one of the most unique and classy lady I had the honor of knowing. I was privileged to also meeting her sons. They’re individuals in life that never leave you and teach you the value of friendship.
MARY NEUMANN DEPASCALE, 93 years of age passed away peacefully at Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls, New Jersey on, July 20, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she married Louis DePascale in 1946, and moved to Hoboken where he later became Mayor in 1965. Mary served as his valued assistant and first lady of the city during his two terms. She is profoundly missed by her loving children.
Nidia, remembers Mary telling her, “You remind me of this wonderful Hispanic man, who was a master carpenter, and did beautiful work in my Hoboken home.” When Nidia showed Mary a picture of her father, it was the same man. What are the odds? Needless to say, these ladies bonded in a very special way and Nidia was privileged to have received years of Mary’s wisdom and charm.
Dental Crowns - Dental crowns are a secure way to fill gaps and help restore your smile if you have missing or damaged teeth. A crown can also help you bite and chew better, which can positively impact “other systems in your body,” such as your digestive system.
Why do I need a crown? You may need a crown if you:
• Missing tooth and need a bridge
* A cavity that is too large for a filling
• Need to cover a dental implant
• Have a tooth that is cracked, worn down or otherwise weakened
• Had root canal treatment—the crown will protect the restored tooth
• Cosmetic - cover a discolored or badly shaped tooth and improve your smile

DENTAL EMERGENCY
When you least expect it, Dental Emergencies happen; how to react to protect our children’s dental health is something we parents must know. The following are good points to know when confronted with dental emergencies:
• If your child tooth is tender or sore to the touch, the first thing you want to do is immediately get emergency treatment. To alleviate any pain, gently rinse your child mouth with warm water and then immediately call my number for a Dental Caring Office. Available 24/7. 202-679-0949. It is better to take precaution should more serious injury occurred during an accident, damage that you may not know about – should the tooth be broken, it’s very painful and your child may have a hard time chewing, which indicates yoiu need to call us ASAP, 201- 679-0949.
Rinse your child mouth with warm water, keeping the area clean, place cold compress in his/her face to reduce swelling, until you arrive at our office. Don’t tell the child stories of what the dentist is going to do, keep your child calm and comfortable.
• If the child tooth was knocked out, find it, hold it by the crown of the tooth to avoid touching the delicate root, gently rinse the tooth with cool water and keep it moist by putting it in a glass of milk or placing it on a wet paper towel as you head to our office. Do not try cleaning any of the tooth structure, you may damage important tissue that is needed for the success of re-planting the tooth back into its socket. The success of this procedure is time sensitive; you must make it to the dental office immediately.
• If your child suffered a jaw injury, immediate emergency dental service is also required, call us right away for instructions on what to do next. On your way to our office, keeping a cold compress on his/her cheek will decrease any swelling due to the trauma.
We hope the above information is of value to those patients dealing with Emergencies, the important thing is to keep calm, focus on getting the Emergency Dental Service as soon as possible. Bringing your child, the following day after the emergency will make their visit more uncomfortable, due to the swelling and tightness that occurs after trauma to the area injured.
