The family of Jose Valenzuela says he was killed when a trench he was working in collapsed in Holdenville. Police say Jose’s body was recovered 8 hours after the trench collapsed Monday afternoon. Jose’s family released this photo of him and asked me to share it. The family says this photo was taken right before the trench collapsed on Vorhees and 3rd Streets. Jose was working for a contractor and replacing a compromised sewer line. They want answers about his working conditions. OSHA is investigating.
