Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County is looking for applicants for its Home Repair Program. 🏠⚒️

This program assists low-income homeowners for repairs such as accessibility improvements, walk-in showers and grab-bars, safety improvements such as smoke detectors, and critical electrical and plumbing repairs. For more information or to apply for home repair services, visit www.habitatventura.org/homerepairs.

Since 2011 this program has helped over 160 individuals and families, including many seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities, stay safe and secure in their own homes. Habitat for Humanity’s Home Repair Program promotes dignity and independence for low-income homeowners by addressing critical health and safety needs within their homes.

Beach Promenade Alert:

Beginning Thursday, January 23, an emergency repair will be performed on the area of the beach promenade foundation near Paseo De Playa that was compromised due to recent wave action and erosion. Work is expected to be completed by Monday, January 27. Pedestrians and beachgoers are advised to avoid the work area. For any questions regarding these repairs, please call Burt Yanez, Senior City Inspector at 805-275-6279.
