Good morning ladies, I have been MIA lately. I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in Jan. We thought removing the one kidney would be best but as it turns out because of a prior surgery it would be very complicated. My Drs at Vanderbilt and my MD here think it’s best to try the cryoablation first. I have been scheduled twice and the first time I got Covid, the second time in May I was put in the hospital the week before with a UTI with sepsis. I am scheduled for July 7 so I am trying very hard to stay healthy. I will be back sewing once this is done and I can’t wait to see again and feel a little like me. I would appreciate your prayers and thinking of my family please. I hope you all have A Blessed Day

Looking for spring inspiration

I have been MIA lately and I am sorry. I am doing a little sewing when I am up to it. I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in Dec and lost my baby sister in Jan. She lost her battle with lung cancer after a very brave fight. The Drs. have been trying to find the best course of action with mine since a surgery many years ago after a accident has made the normal surgery to remove my kidney and the tumor impossible. I am having cryoablation in May and hopefully back on my sewing full time. I am doing some smocking now and working on some heirloom dresses now. Thank you to all who have been praying for my baby sister and I ask you to continue praying for my family.
