Chronic absenteeism has become a big issue in schools across Arizona and nationwide. Now, in a collective effort to tackle the issue, Valley of the Sun United Way, Helios Education Foundation, Read On Arizona, and various community partners are introducing the Attendance Matters campaign to help reduce chronic absenteeism in Arizona schools.
