Hoosier BMW

On Saturday, AUGUST 24th, your local Hoosier BMW Club will be the featured Club in the popular Cars and Coffee series. The event starts at 8am and we will have our own section for BMWs. Starting early leaves the rest of your Saturday open so take advantage of free donuts at this family friendly event! We first started this partnership in 2022 and that first year a whopping 103 BMWs of many different eras and models were grouped together forming the single biggest BMW gathering for the state. The challenge this year is to break that record!! Please consider attending to catch up with fellow members, check out some of the many cool BMWs in our area and also enjoy the ambience of the fantastic Cars and Coffee series. Dreyer and Reinbold BMW will also be there to showcase some of the newest offerings from the brand.

Event Start Time: 8AM
Event End Time: 11AM
While the event starts at 8am, if you cannot make it for 8am, you can still enter later as participants typically flow in between 8 and 8:30.
Charitable Cause
The Hoosier Chapter is also proud to partner with Indy Cars and Coffee to support their cause Folds of Honor- a nonprofit organization that helps provide educational opportunities for the families of fallen and disabled service members and first responders. There is no cost to attend this event, but we are all blessed to enjoy a good life and drive nice cars so please consider making a small donation on the day or purchasing some Cars and Coffee merchandise, which also supports the cause. Indianapolis Cars and Coffee is a not for profit organization and their cause is Folds of Honor - your support makes a difference.

A Mass Ave Christmas The Mass Ave neighborhood is a holly and jolly destination for locals and visitors alike, especially around the holiday season. A handful of local businesses are putting on celebrations, offering shopping opportunities, and dishing out flavorful treats that you won’t want to miss out on.

BMW Will Keep the Manual Around Until 2030 BMW M boss Frank van Meel confirmed the M2, M3, and M4 will continue to offer three pedals until the end of the decade.

Come join the Hoosier BMW Club for a Halloween tour of the Catacombs in downtown Indianapolis! The catacombs are beneath the City Market’s Whistler Plaza and are the only remains of the vibrant 1886 Tomlinson Hall which seated 3500 people and hosted presidential speeches as well as performers Ray Charles and Bo Didley! Rare opportunity to see a real piece of Indianapolis history!!

When: Saturday October 22

Time: 5:30 PM

Where: Meet at 5:15 PM in the NW corner of the mezzanine (second level) of the Indianapolis City Market, 222 E. Market Street, to pay and divide into groups if necessary.

Cost: $15 each over 12 yrs, $10 each 12 yrs and under.

Details: No strollers due to stairs and rustic terrain. Close toed shoes are recommended. You will be required to sign a liability waiver for you and your children. The City recently decided that masks (provided) be worn while in the catacombs due to air quality.

Parking: Metered Street parking or several parking garages within a block or two of the City Market.

Optional group dinner following: Since we will already be downtown in the evening, please consider staying for a social dinner following the tour at a location decided by the group!

Annual Artomobilia weekend returns to Carmel this weekend — will feature enthusiast, collector cars This eclectic car show has something for everyone! Artomobilia is returning to Carmel for the fifteenth year on Saturday, August 27 at the Carmel Arts & Design District. John Leonard, executive director of Artomobilia, joined us Monday on "Life.Style.Live!" to share

ARTOMOBILIA! Optional!

If you are registered for Artomobilia The Saturday, and are in the 8:30 AM green zone loading group, I am planning to meet before at 7:45am, just to help us get organized as a group before we check in.
I believe there are 40 entries in the BMW group. There are no requirements per se, but would be nice if we could arrange our cars somehow (year or body style or color or whatever) Before we load in and register. Off the top of my head, I’m thinking by body codes would be nice. E30, E36, etc.

I plan to be at the Parking lot at
1435 Pennsylvania Way at 7:45am.

There is a Starbucks across the street, and this is a half block south of the Indiana spine hospital. This is very close to Main St/Rt 31 intersection In approximately four minutes away from the Artomobilia registration area.

If you are registered for Artomobilia, and can meet there at 7:45 AM, awesome! This is completely optional, and if you want to go straight to Artomobilia registration, that’s cool too.

THE ANNUAL CARMEL ARTOMOBILIA AND BMW PALOOZA IS THIS WEEKEND, SATURDAY, AUGUST 27TH!!!
Always a fantastic event with a great variety of motor vehicles providing a celebration of the Indiana car culture. BMW's are no exception with the marque drawing cars from all eras from vintage to modern.

As the date rapidly approaches, Artomobilia is asking the BMW CCA Hoosier Chapter to provide:
- 4-5 Judges for the review and judging of registered BMWs
- 3-5 volunteers to assist in marshaling & parking BMWs

There will be a volunteers meeting held this Monday, Aug 22nd at:

Carmel, Indiana 46032

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7pm and last about an hour. Attendance of this meeting is not mandatory. More details to follow after Monday's meeting.

Hello Hoosier BMW Members!

As this weekend starts to wrap up, it is time to start thinking about the next. Some have already seen our next event posted, but for those who have not, this coming Saturday on August 6th, the Hoosier chapter is doing something special and has partnered with Indianapolis Cars and Coffee for their event at St Luke's Church on 86th Street. We will be pioneering the concept of having BMW be their Featured Marque and Club, where we will have our own gathering within the greater gathering of Cars and Coffee. Think of it as a show within a show! Let's show Indy how much enthusiasm there is for our brand and join us that morning for some casual socializing among friends and fellow enthusiasts.

The club will also have German cookies from Heidelberg Haus to compliment the donuts and coffee of the event, and we will be encouraging donations to support Folds of Honor, Indianapolis Cars and Coffee's charity for 2022.

We welcome all club members and friends of club members to join our area as long as they drive a BMW!

Our friends from Dreyer & Reinbold BMW will also be there with some of the latest offerings.

Nordfest registration - Price Reduced - Please Pass On To Your Members

Hello Everyone!

I have exciting news about the Nordfest Registration Fee being reduced! Since we opened registration, we finalized new and very generous sponsorship commitments that allowed us to reduce the event price! It is now $90 per/person for the base price. And people can still add on activities of their choosing. I am forwarding you this email we sent out to the North Star distribution list. Please pass this on to your chapter members and encourage them to attend.

The early bird pricing ends this Thursday, June 30. Afterward, we continue to pass on the reduced price only at $106 per person.
