Branford Youth Football League and Cheerleading

Last nights end of season party was so much fun!! Thank you to every one that helped make it such a huge success!! Sharing a few pictures I have! Feel free to add any in the comments!!

End of Season Party tomorrow from 5:30-7pm at Hatch Park! We will have pizza and cupcakes to eat and lots of activities for the kids to enjoy!!
Food and activities begin at 5:30 for players, parents and siblings.
Recognition of teams/players will start at 6:15 if any extra family wants to pop in for that!

What an awesome day of football yesterday!!!

🔹 12u are your 12u Tri-County League Champions with a win yesterday to finish with an undefeated season!!

This season has been awesome and we are so proud of every boy and girl!! Thank you to all the volunteers that make this league run so smooth!

🔹🔸Make plans to come out tomorrow to Branford High school football field to cheer on our young kids!! All age groups will be playing but our 8u and 12u will be playing for the championship!! Let’s pack the stands and show these kids some support!! 🔸🔹

‼️‼️We are in desperate need of some boys to help us do chains and take care of trash tomorrow for our home games! It will be an all day job 8:30am-5:00pm. We need 5-6 middle school/high school age boys! They will be paid for the day! Please message us if you are wanting to help!‼️‼️

We know we still have one more big weekend of games but we wanted to get this information out there so everyone can plan to attend!

All Branford teams won yesterday!! This means, 8u and 12u will be playing for the Championship on Saturday!!! And our 10u will be playing in a consolation game!

8u - game at 1:00pm
10u - game at 10:30am
12u - game at 3:30pm

Games for Saturday! October 14th in Fort White!!

We will be making up the game we had to cancel on 9/2 due to the hurricane. Make up game will be 10/7. This means we will push back all the games by one week.

October 7th will be in Newberry with the same schedule as originally planned for this location.
10u - 10:30am
12u and 8u will have a bye week.

October 14th in Fort White with game times TBD.

October 21st in Branford with game times TBD. We will need volunteers for this game and will post more information at a later date.

BHS Homecoming parade is tomorrow, 9/22.
If your child plans on riding in the parade please have them there at 11:10am. You must park at the gym and walk them over! We are NOT throwing candy this year.
To pick your child back up, please come back to the parking lot where you dropped them off as soon as possible after the parade!
Cheerleader can wear full uniform and football players just wear your jersey.

‼️BHS Homecoming Parade information - Friday, Sept 22nd‼️

If you wish to ride in the parade please be at the parking lot of the high school football field at 11:10am. Please do not get there any earlier than that. The parade starts at 11:30.
All parents MUST park at the gym and walk their child over!! Cheerleaders wear their full cheer uniform and boys wear just your jersey! Cheerleaders and football players will be on separate trailers.
After the parade please come back to the field to pick your child up ASAP.

‼️‼️We still need volunteers to help in the concession stand for our games tomorrow!! This league does not run without the help of volunteers!!

If you have a child that cheers or plays football please look at the sign up sheet and pick a time!

Tomorrow is Game Day in Branford!!! Come out to support these boys and girls!! We will have Suwannee Brew with coffee drinks and sno cones and Traditions BBQ with some good food!

Don’t forget Youth Night is tomorrow, Sept 15th!!! Please be there by 7:00pm if you would like to participate in the tunnel with the varsity players and cheerleaders!!

Please come out to support our youth players and also support the big boys play against Hilliard!! Go Bucs!!

Players and cheerleaders will get in free if they are in cheer uniform or jersey. Everyone else it is a $7 entry fee.

🔸🔹BYFL Youth Night at BHS is next Friday 9/15/23! 🔹🔸

On Youth Night, our football players and cheerleaders get to participate with the varsity Buccaneers at BHS! Our football players will be able to run out of the tunnel with the varsity football players while our cheerleaders will stand with the varsity cheer team as the boys run through! The cheerleaders will also have a special performance at halftime!

Game is at 7:30pm, please be there by 7:00pm if you plan on doing the tunnel!

Cheerleaders and players get in to the game free (must wear jersey or cheer uniform to get in free) but parents and other fan club members must pay admission ($7.00).

This is always a fun night for the kids so please plan to come out and support them!

Games in Live Oak tomorrow at Paul Langford Stadium! Come out and support all our teams! Go Bucs!! 🔸🔹

This is the schedule for our flag team

Team and Individual Pictures:

Thursday 8/24 in the Community Center
5:15 Flag FB
5:35 10u FB
5:55 8u FB

Monday 8/28 at the Pavilion
6:00 12u FB

Thursday 8/31 will be cheerleaders but we are waiting to make sure uniforms are here and OK.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your picture time, dressed and ready to go. Picture times are tight to allow everyone to get to the first JV game Thursday night and cheer on our Bucs!

Your coaches have a digital picture of the order form and paper forms will be available at pictures. Everyone must be photographed in order to be in the team pictures, no purchase is necessary for that. Prepayment is required for individual picture purchases.
