I’m proud as hell of these guys, and super proud of our team of volunteers! I wish I could explain how much thought, time, money, and effort goes into these preps and races. Some of you know, others have no idea what it takes just to get to the starting line, let alone finish, and then to win. Thanks to all the guys that make it possible! Eric, Kolton, and Mitch overcame everything thrown at us on this race and bought home a win in class and 2nd overall. To chase this race and to have 2 fuel pits with our team of 7 crew guys, is a feat worth mentioning. Thanks to Sheldon, Ken, Shawn, Randy, Shannon, and Ben for all the work you do.

Eric Hustead, your 2023 Legacy Racing Association Champion and overall winner at the FX Stateline Shootout!

Eric will be starting the Baja 400 in P9 in TT 38 and Kolton will be starting P12 in the spec TT 210. Very respectable qualifying efforts by both drivers! We want to wish all the teams competing this weekend a safe, fun, and successful race. Best of luck!

The 2022 Legacy off road racing Turbo UTV chamoion

Your 2022 Legacy off road racing Unlimited Truck champion.

This weekend was almost the perfect result for ELE Motorsports. The #1 truck won 1st place overall and T938 fought hard for a 2nd place. The amount of heart and dedication that this team has is second to none. Eric and Preston drove an exceptional race all the way to pit 13, where they got out of the truck and TJ and Igor Dorojinski and brought the truck to the finish line from there. Kolton Hustead and Manny showed their grit by ironmanning the entire 635 mile with powersteering only for 1/3rd of the time in the T938 car. The chase crews came in from 4 states and managed all their duties as required. Thank you to all who helped make this race happen.

Been away for a bit, little recap of our last two races at the baja 250 and Legacy Racing]

Down in baja we finished p6 after chasing down the leaders all day and getting stuck behind slower racers! In the end we were happy to go home safe with a good finish!
Few short weeks later and a full prep we lined up for the next Legacy Racing] to sweep the field with p1 in qualifying and p.1 overall for the race! and just like that another full prep begins!

TT #1 is off the starting line at day 2 of the legacy off road racing Stateline Shootout!

Kolton and Preston 1st on day 2!

Congratulations to Kolton and Preston on a very impressive second day of racing. They were absolutely the fastest a car in their class. Day one was hindered by a turbo tube that popped off. Day 1 was a 9th, Day 2 was a 1st, 4th place for the weekend.

Zero flats on the BFGoodrich tires. The Dougans racing engine pulled strong all day. The prep and post prep prep was mostly all on point. Eric and Igor drove an amazing race! The team handled their duties efficiently and effectively. TT 38 came in with a 6th place finish, just 5 seconds away from a top 5 finish. It was a great weekend of racing. Kolton /Preston/ Manny succumbed to a clutching issue in 2938 at Rm 174.
Great times, great people, cold beer! Let’s get ready for the next one!
