Des Arc Youth Football

P*eWee football sign ups are happening now! Flag football will be for grades K-2nd and tackle will be grades 3rd-4th and 5th-6th. The cost is $30 for flag and $40 for tackle. Payment can be paid at the first practice. Cash and check will be accepted. Checks need to be made out to Des Arc Parks and Rec.

First tackle practice will be August 5th at the high school practice field. Time will be announced soon. Flag practices will start at a later date.

Next Tuesday, October 24 will be the last flag football games of the season. They will start at 5:00. Afterwards, the 3rd/4th graders will take on Palestine-Wheatley for the first round of the play offs at 6:00.

We need concession stand workers tomorrow night. Please volunteer if you can!

There a few people who haven’t paid their football fees. Please do so at the next football game, Tuesday 26th!!

If your child is practicing football at the elementary school you are not allowed to park anywhere but the main parking lot!! No exceptions!!

The flag teams have been drafted. Parents should be hearing from coaches soon.

It’s time to sign up for football. K-2nd grade will play flag football. 3-4th and 5-6th will play tackle football. Please sign up ASAP. Football will not interfere with fall baseball in Des Arc. Show your proof of registration for fall baseball and receive a $5 per player discount when you sign up for football. Go Eagles 🦅.

Flag football at home today at 6pm. 6th grade game will follow at 7.

The season kicks off tomorrow night here in Des Arc. Flag football at 5:30. The two tackle teams take on the Hazen hornets at 6:30 and 7:30. Go 🦅!

Any flag parents willing to help with the concession stand for the games that follow the flag game next Tuesday night would be much appreciated!!

***Edit again… there will be a flag football game and a 5th/6th grade game for Carlisle.

Thursday, August 25th is the last day for flag football sign ups for K-2nd! We cannot have any more sign ups after this date! If you have messaged or commented on a post, then I have you down!

Both flag football teams will practice tomorrow at the elementary school. There have been some late signups so I’m still working on getting the teams split up. All players that have already signed up to play or any that haven’t yet signed up but want to play must show up tomorrow. Tomorrow will be the last day to sign up. Practice will be at 5pm. I will start notifying coaches and parents as to which team they are on shortly.

There is a 3rd and 4th grade football group on messenger. If you are a parent of a 3rd/4th grade football player and you are NOT in the group, please let me know so I can add you!
