Our Story
My name is Valorie Hammonds. I have over 12 years of teaching piano lessons. These one-on-one lessons are designed with your child’s specific learning habits in mind. Lessons can be laid back or by-the-book, whatever your child is comfortable with. I teach from my home in Richmond in a fun classroom environment. I use the Alfred’s curriculum but have been known to adapt to several different forms piano curriculum. Parents are welcome to watch in the classroom, sit in the waiting area, run errands, or just sit in their cars! I have taught over 100 students and have met so many incredible people, my little boys love meeting new people too. So come and be a part of our musical family! Virtual lessons are also becoming very successful. All you need is internet, a device,books that I will recommend for you and a piano/ keyboard to practice on!
