Tom Dixon's Melt range of lighting just keeps getting better and better! The recently added Melt Cone Slim floor lamp celebrates the much-loved Melt aesthetic by placing the large Melt diffuser atop a thin cylindrical support that culminates in a conical base. We've paired the example in Switch Modern's showroom with the Lima lounge chair by Tacchini and a Draenert Mortimer small table. The artwork is courtesy of Scott Ingram.

Linear, gridded, and JUST fabulous! Part of the Quaderna range of furniture designed by radical design Superstudio in 1970 and produced by Zanotta, Italy. The range features dining and coffee tables as well as a console and a bench. Noted here is a recent arrival to the Switch Modern showroom - a desk that features a concealed slender drawer that is essentially "camouflaged" on the underside of the surface. Quaderns's linear form is paired with Tom Dixon's Fat chair with its curved and thick cylindrical elements.

David Trubridge's Navicula suspension light features a mesmerizing sculptural form composed of computer-controlled cut bamboo. This award-wirnning New Zealand designer was inspired by the shape of Navicula algae that is responsible for nearly 25% of the oxygen in Earth's biosphere. Navicula was just installed in our showroom; drop by to experience this engaging design.

Designed in 2009 by acclaimed Brazilian designers and brothers, Humberto and Fernando Campana, their Cipria sofa for Edra is a fabulously enigmatic piece that was designed to delight. Composed of nine amorphic cushions and upholstered in Edra's proprietary synthetic eco fur, this extraordinarily comfortable sofa functions as much a sculpture as it does seating in any interior in which it is placed. Italian manufacturer Agape challenges preconceived notions of how a bathroom can look and function. As much sculpture as it is floor lamp, Serge Mouille's iconic three-arm floor lamp was designed in 1952. Still in production 70 years later by Editions Serge Mouille in France, examples of Mouille's designs are included in museum collections around the world.
