Thank you, all of you who pledged support for the Kickstarter campaign. Unfortunately, it failed. The target was ambitious, but I thought RRADbike compelling enough to succeed. I was wrong. The project will, however, continue, by reverting to more conventional "Angel" funding.
A tentative plan is to sell 25% of the company to raise the $100,000 necessary to take RRADbike commercial. (Two KS pledgers have already agreed to each commit $10,000 on these terms).
Raising the remaining $80k will, however, be a challenge. Anyone interested in details, please contact me directly: [email protected].
Thanks again to all who supported the Kickstarter.

Thanks Dave C., for your suggestion on alternate uses for RRAD. Yes, a bike bar would be more efficient with RRAD enabled pump action cycling - leaving more energy for lifting the glasses of beer.
Early prototype of a magnetically hinged overrunning clutch that forms the basis of RRAD. First, a computer rendering. Then, a 3D printed, nylon prototype fitted with neodymium rare-earth magnets.
