Let’s channel our inner 'Frozen' magic to maintain a professional cool while nurturing your own well-being!
* Start Your Day Mindfully: Kick off with a few minutes of meditation or some deep-breathing exercises. It's like setting the thermostat to 'calm and focused' for your day.�
* Mindful Listening: During sessions, practice active and mindful listening. It's not just about hearing; it's about really getting what your patients are saying. They'll appreciate it, and you'll learn more too.�
* Mindful Movement: Incorporate mindful movements into your day. Think simple stretches or a relaxed walk. It's like hitting the refresh button for your body and mind.�
* Gratitude Reflections: Before you call it a day, take a moment to reflect on three things you're grateful for. It's a small shift from stressing to blessing.�
* Mindful Breaks: Remember, even superheroes need a breather! Take short, regular breaks throughout the day to just breathe and re-center. A few mindful breaths can work wonders.�
* Client-Centered Mindfulness: Share the mindfulness love! Encourage your patients to try simple mindfulness exercises. It'll enhance their therapy journey and equip them with stress-busting tools.�
Remember, a mindful OT is an effective OT.

WH questions are tricky for hyperlexic kids so it's always best to turn those questions into a statement or a comment instead. This type of language is called declarative language and it's helpful for kids for a variety of reasons (a few of which are mentioned in the image).
