I had an absolute blast spending time filming and photographing the Cardel Family. They have the most adorable home.

It's been a LONG time since I've been active on my Facebook business page. I'm excited to report that I'm back with some updates. My passion has always been little ones and I discovered film / videography a few years back. I knew that capturing the innocence of childhood would eventually be what my heart would pursue. It's taken time and I'm now fully immersed.

When you ask a parent what they think about when they hear the word “fast”….
I bet most of them would say something along the lines of how fast their children grow or how fast the days go by when raising little ones or they wish they could bottle up precious time with their littles because it goes so fast.
Did you know that you CAN bottle those memories and time up to look back on? In photos and SOON in a family film as well.

Anyone else adore a toddler’s inquisitive spirit? They want to explore, but they need guidance, patience, freedom yet protection.
Exploring is natural.
Curiosity is natural.
Learning by touch and feel is natural. Toddlers can do all these things with you close to reassure.

Not gonna lie.... I've been very absent from this page. I kinda live in Instagram for all things social media. However, it's time to start showing up here again.... at least more than I was. It's been a while since I've been on here. Things slows down in December and January. I've intentionally been trying to be on social media less. Plus, I got covid a second time a few weeks ago. YAY! Does that mean I have antibodies for another year? I'm believing yes and that I'm going to stay healthy as a horse. 😁

Zachary and Marjorie's wedding was this past weekend. I could not stop staring at how beautiful she was during the day and I still cannot quit thinking about her beauty. She looked like Cleopatra!!! Zachary, you married a goddess! Seriously! Zach looked as daper in his black velvet tux jacket. The weather was perfect too.
One of my favorite moments from the day was Marjorie's brother throwing petals as the flower man. I cannot wait to see the video of it. Someone please send it to me?!?!

Some sneak peeks of a family session I recently photographed. This family was so much fun. They flew here from AZ for a yearly tradition. Every year this mother takes her boys somewhere for photos and this year it was Nashville. Dukes of Hazard was the theme. OMG, what a blast we had.

Some sneak peeks from a surprise proposal at Arrington Vineyards on Monday. Danielle literally had no clue, as Sean (her now fiance) said he couldn't afford a ring right now. Little did she know he was planning everything behind the scenes. Her best friend even knew and said it was so hard to keep the secret.
Sean and I started planning several weeks ago. They would be starting a road trip and Sean wanted it to start with the proposal. On the day of the proposal he added me as an alias to his phone as 'dad'. He didn't want Danielle to get suspicious. The location changed for the proposal at the last minute and thankfully I showed up as 'dad' in his phone when I had to send an update. Huge props to Sean for thinking it all through thoroughly. I cannot wait to hear more about the two of them after their road trip. Danielle is on cloud 9 and I hope she stays there for a long time. Danielle Drywa

I was born and raised in Northwest Wisconsin. The north raised me to appreciate the beauty of its four distinct seasons; with a reminder of how quickly each season passes. I always remember my Mother having a camera in her hand and she often still does. I have inherited boxes and boxes of photographs documenting my journey through life. Life was captured just as it happened. Real life. Real moments. Real time. Those photographs are priceless to me. They tell stories and capture emotions that words cannot express. My Mother passed the photography gene to me. The bug bit me as a twelve-year-old girl scout needing to earn a photography badge and then again in high school. The feel of film. The darkroom. A blank piece of photo paper one minute and then a tangible, developed print minutes later. In all honesty, photography was never going to be a part of my plan after high school. I moved south to Nashville to pursue a career in the music business. I worked in the business a few years before God revealed that He had other plans for me. For me, photography is about capturing the moments in between the moments. It's capturing life, love and emotion from different perspectives. It's printing your photographs and filling your walls or an album full of sweet memories.
