Paradox Wines
We are an Urban Winery creating a variety of handcrafted wines and fun events.
Paradox Wines is the labor of love of a group of wine enthusiast friends wanting to make the kind of wine we love to drink ourselves. Since 2004 and our first release we have embraced the artisan wine movement focused on making handcrafted wine in small quantities to which we can apply our philosophy of terroir, technique and time. This allows us to bring each individual release to its full potent
Last bottle of 2012 Barbara in my cellar. Maybe the last one period (that I know of). So it was fitting to share it with our former partners in wine, Frannie and Steven, on a visit here in Oakland.
At 10 years I wasn't sure how it would be, but we were very pleased and in fact Karen said it was the best wine she'd had all year.
If anyone does have a bottle or two left in their cellar, this would be the time. Its' probably at its peak, and you don't want it to age too far.
Good night sweet prince...
The New Yorker always has the best wine cartoons. A friend gave me a book of them and they are all great.
[for some reason it is not showing the caption which is]
“I think you’ll find this wine to be quite infuriating.”
