There's never been an easier time in history to get a lean body and six pack abs.
So why don't most people have it?
They don't know how.
Yes, working on crunches and obliques in the gym is important.
But what really prevents most people from achieving it is the fat covering their midsection.
You really need to get your bodyfat percentage down to 10%-12% for that coveted look.
Here's how we recommend you do it. It's actually simple.
First, I would get a bathroom scale that also measures bodyfat.
We recommend one you can get at americanmale.shop
Second, figure out your daily calorie target goal to keep you in calorie deficit (meaning you lose weight every day). That will typically be 1600-1800 calories per day.
You track that my daily tracking your calorie intake and stop when you reach your limit. Every restaurant and fast food joint posts the calories for every one of their meals.
Tools like MyFitnessPal can really help, along with a food scale you should take with you. You can also get a food scale at americanmale.shop
That's really it. If you stick to that daily goal, and your body obeys the laws of physics (which it has to if you are alive!), you can't miss.

Who doesn't love peanut butter?
But look at the labels from the most popular brands, some really terrible ingredients.
All you need for peanut butter is peanuts and salt.
But with the popular brands you get non-organic peanuts (sprayed with pesticides), sugar, and hydrogenated vegetable oils - that's right, heart-clogging trans fats that you read to stay away from.
Fortunately, there are some other good brands. Believe it or not, a big company like Smuckers makes a nice organic peanut butter where the only ingredients is peanuts.
With these organic brands, when you open it up, the liquid has separated from the peanuts. Don't let that throw you, it's supposed to be like that.
Thank you Bobby Parrish for catching this.
The new Hershey’s Chicolate Cake Overload donut at Krispy Kreme.
So how many ingredients does it take to make a donut? Well, chocolate, sugar, flour, I guess.
No they use 95 ingredients!
500 calories
69 carbs and 58 grams of sugar.
And trans fats oils too.
I used to think fast food places didn’t care about your health. Well maybe I was wrong.
They do care.
They want to destroy your health…maybe they a deal with a hospital chain?
Let me know your comments.
I’ve been knocking several restaurants for some of their really undesirable ingredients, like caffeine and sugar, so why not say something good about some other places?
Chipotle can be a really good source of fresh, mostly unprocessed ingredients. Their guacamole tastes great, and a salad with rice, beans, protein and greens is going to be that rare combination of tastes great and healthy.
Panda Express is tricky. They have some really great, low calorie options like Beef Broccoli, Teriyaki Chicken. Kung Pao Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, String bean chicken are all winners. Plus you can get greens as your side rather than rice.
But it’s dishes like Orange Chicken that can throw you, not only battered and fried but when covered with a high sugar sauce. Ditto for Honey Sesame Chicken Breast and Beijing Beef. And their noodles is very carb heavy, probably busting your daily carb limits.
Is this what America asked for?
You can now go to Subway and get a foot long Cinnabon charro, a foot long Auntie Anne’s pretzel, or a foot long chocolate chip cookie.
More than half of Americans are either diabetic or pre diabetic, so remember, these restaurants and food companies are not really that interested in your health. You have to be very vigilant.
I could look at the bright side. They are future customers of ours at Action Hero to transform them from obesity to normal weight.
A college student recently died after drinking a “Charged Lemonade” at Panera Bread. That’s why when you go there now you see a warning label on the drinks area.
The lemonade has 386 grams of caffeine…that’s equivalent to about 4 Red Bulls or 4 coffees. And to top it off it has about 98 grams of sugar. That’s about 24 teaspoons in a single drink! Yes I know lemons are sour and you have to sweeten it up, but that seems pretty extreme.
I always enjoy going to Panera, and will continue to go, but it’s not always the fresh, healthy food nirvana you would think. I went to their nutrition web site and looked at the ingredients page, and for many of them they were loaded either a half page of various chemicals or additives I didn’t recognize.
Enjoy Panera, but do your research before you put your order in, and you’ll be much better off.
The new Shamrock Shake at McDonalds: 84 grams of sugar! Plus artificial coloring used to make it green.
The new Peppermint Mocha Swirl drink at Dunkin’ Donuts comes with an eye- popping 186 grams of sugar. Yes, you read that right. That’s something like eating 60 of their powdered Munchkin donuts.
The sooner you accept that these food companies have no interest in your health but making sales, the better off you’ll be.
When you first start out lifting weights to grow muscles, you generally are best off going for 12 reps per set. You are going through a phase called Muscular Endurance, where you are priming your muscles to take on more weight and they are developing the endurance to lift more weights.
Once you are through with that phase, you enter the Hypertrophy phase, which is just a fancy word for growing strength and size of your muscles. In that case you want to increase the weights to about 80-85% of your maximum to where you can just lift 6-10 reps per set.
But don't jump the gun..start out with those 12 reps and get those muscles prepped to grow. Don't take on too much too fast.
We help people get back control of their lives
Our mission is to help people rediscover the joy of movement and fitness regardless of age. Our first step is to take a thorough physical assessment of our clients, then work with them on banishing their chronic pain conditions (knee, hip, back, etc.) without drugs or surgery. We do this through posture therapy and correctly realigning the body to the way they were when they could move effortlessly.
Once we have built a proper foundation for the body, we then introduce resistance training and cardiovascular training to lose body fat and gain lean muscle mass to build a toned, strong and flexible body.
