Chocolat Pur
"The Pure Chocolate." A chocolate free of questionable ingredients has a more interesting flavor profile and is healthier. Pure flavors, no compromise.
We've created a webpage for our recipes. Now you can visit our website when you're looking for inspiration.
PURE CREATIONS. While taste is subjective, the list of ingredients is not. We do not claim to make the most delicious chocolate in the world, because each person’s expectation is different. We simply believe that a chocolate free of questionable ingredients has a more interesting flavor profile.
OUR VISION. We envision a world in which the chocolate industry resembles the wine industry, where artisan chocolate is preferred over mass-produced chocolate. We believe that only artisans can make chocolate with interesting flavor profiles. Since a cocoa plantation cannot grow enough cocoa beans for mass production, the large chocolate makers often flatten and standardize the flavor profiles of different cocoa beans by adding vanillin and soy lecithin to their chocolate. As a result, their taste remains the same, chocolate bar after chocolate bar. On the other hand, at Chocolat Pur, we embrace the flavor nuances. Each new season, the taste of our chocolate changes as we receive cocoa beans of different flavor profiles.
Our recipes are the ones of "home", free of questionable ingredients, including corn syrup, lecithin, vanillin, and palm oil. On top of that, our creations are organic. That way, you can worry about only one thing: Your ability to resist the urge to devour your favorite Chocolat Pur creation in one sitting.
What is pure chocolate? We consider chocolate “pure”, when it is not only 100 percent organic, but also free of any added artificial ingredients, such as soy lecithin and vanillin. Chocolate at its healthiest and most natural form!
Our one-of-a-kind Almond Butter with cocoa nibs can be eaten on bread, crepes, or be used as a fruit dip. Well, we don't want to limit your creativity, so let us know how else you eat our almond butter 🥰😋

Mom and teenager approved! Made with mostly hazelnuts and some almonds, this dairy-free chocolate spread is a great alternative to the leading brand that is filled with sugar and oils. Like our chocolate, our spread is free of soy lecithin and vanillin, but also free of any oil. Spread it on bread and crepes for breakfast or snack, and enjoy this more natural, healthier and delicious version.
MORE FOR LESS! We've heard you. Now, we offer our one-of-a-kind Almond Butter in a 12 oz. jar. That's three times the size, for only twice the price.
"Almond butter - I LOVED this. A new favorite although I don’t think I can regularly keep it at home because I’ll eat it constantly. I love the hints of cinnamon and honey and I personally REALLY love the crunch of the cocoa nibs. That’s a winner!!"
"Wow, the best almond butter I've ever tasted. And I am an almond butter lover."
Some of the great feedback we've recently received from customers like you. Get yours today and find out for yourself what all the fuss is about! 😋🥰
The leading brand of chocolate hazelnut spread is two dollars cheaper. Here are the things you get in addition to savings when you purchase the leading brand: Mostly sugars (about 55%), pesticides since it's not organic, vanillin (another chemical), soy lecithin (another chemical), and the controversial palm oil used in cosmetics too. For two dollars more, our product offers organic ingredients, less sugar, some honey, no added oils, no soy lecithin and no vanillin. Oh, and did we mention it's dairy free? THE CHOICE IS CLEAR IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A HEALTHIER YET AFFORDABLE ALTERNATIVE.

HAPPY WORLD OF CHOCOLATE DAY!
We just checked, and tomorrow is supposed to be hot! It will hit 81 degrees by noon, and climb to 84 quickly. Since we don't have an effective way to keep our chocolate cool, we'll skip the Natick farmer's market. We are tentatively scheduled to attend next Saturday, July 13. We're sorry about any inconvenience caused by this rescheduling.
Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸 🥳 We probably will not participate in this Saturday's farmer market in Natick due to potentially high temperatures - 80 degrees and higher, chocolate melts. We'll confirm our decision Saturday morning, when we glance at the latest temperature prediction.
Father's day is right around the corner. Surprise him with a box of chocolate filled with hazelnut dark chocolate spread and almond with cocoa nibs spread. Delicious and healthier alternatives, our chocolate bonbons are the gift that says, "You deserve the best!"
Organic, and made without questionable ingredients like soy lecithin and vanillin, our 3.5 oz. chocolate bars cost only $3.75. Top quality, lower prices.... because good things in life shouldn't be unaffordable.
In a week, on June 1, we'll be back at the farmer's market in Natick, from 9am to 1pm. That's plenty of time to plan for Father's Day. Does he love chocolate? We've got dark, milk, and white with cocoa nibs (a favorite!) chocolates, without the soy lecithin and vanillin - healthier! Does he enjoy eating bread? Sweeten things up with our hazelnut dark chocolate spread, a healthier version without oils and soy lecithin, and less sugar than leading brands! We also have cocoa nibs that can be added to ice cream, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, and other dishes. Is he not a big chocolate lover? Well then, we might have him covered... with our delicious almond butter!
For the first time ever, we're offering chocolate bonbons. Shortly after biting into the white chocolate, you can taste the contrasting flavors of the hazelnut dark chocolate spread filling. The same filling provides a gradual crescendo of cocoa flavors to the milk chocolate. Finally, the piece of dark chocolate easily breaks inside the mouth, releasing the sweet almond butter that pairs well with the bitterness of the chocolate. Buy a box of four pieces for $6.
Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, we've got you covered! At $3.75 for a 3.5 oz. bar, our organic chocolate is not much more expensive than what you can find at your local supermarket, and it doesn't contain the questionable ingredients you'll find in most chocolate bars, including soy lecithin. Enjoy a delicious and healthier treat while supporting a local artisan business, what's not to like?
Our chocolaty nut cocoa spread, our one-of-a-kind almond butter, and our pure chocolate bars are waiting for you. Place an order today!
You've probably never tasted this. It's not 100% dark chocolate, because we did not add cocoa butter to those sticks. We crush cocoa beans into a fine paste, add a dash of cinnamon to soften the bitterness, then harden the mix into sticks. And voila! You now have organic sugar-, dairy-, vanillin- and lecithin-free cocoa stick that you can eat as is for the ultimate cocoa experience. If that's too explosive for you, eat it with your coffee, one sip and bite at a time. 😋
The Beginning...
In 2017, we came across an interesting article about the Texas Food Cottage law, which basically allows people to make certain food items at home and sell it directly to local customers. We did not hesitate... We would start making chocolate. And, we did not plan to make any kind of chocolate, but we would create high quality masterpieces for the palate. Amor Cocoa was born.
The journey was not always smooth, but I suppose that starting a business never is. We spent a lot of money figuring out the perfect size and shape of our molds, the right design of our wrapper, redesigned our website more than a dozen times, and wasted many pounds of chocolate in an attempt to get the right chocolate recipes. We also had to work long hours to finish chocolate batches in time for the next day’s delivery, and sacrifice Saturday mornings to attend local farmer’s markets year round. Two of our machines broke down in the middle of batches, and we once had to throw away five pounds of recently refined chocolate because we were worried that it could possibly have been contaminated by the flu. Nevertheless, our perseverance eventually paid off.
Two years and many headaches later, we can claim that we’re glad to have kept on going. While we have not been as financially successful as we had originally planned, we’ve learned invaluable skills and experienced some of the greatest moments anyone could brag about. Chocolate making, financial accounting, cost manufacturing, networking, sales and marketing, and setting up and tearing down a booth in fewer than 10 minutes; all important elements of a business - well, except for that last one. Most importantly though, we witnessed memorable snippets of life, when a bite of our chocolate, or a friendly conversation sparked up at our vendor booth, alas temporarily, rendered a person’s day brighter. And upon pondering over the whole experience, we concluded that our new perception of life made us a stronger family-owned business.
We realized that Amor Cocoa is more about amor than cocoa.
