Festivities kick off with a historic church mass at 11 am, followed by a vibrant lineup from 12 noon to 9:30 pm featuring traditional dancing, mariachis, ballet folklorico, and live performances by acclaimed artists like Los Montaño.
Adults can unwind at the beer and spirit garden, while families enjoy the kids' zone with activities for all ages.
The highlight comes at 9 pm with the official "El Grito" Presentation led by the Mexican Consulate, marking Mexican Independence Day with pride and cultural significance. This event, supported by Univision, embodies our commitment to cultural understanding and community unity. Temperature this week is going to be brutal, high 90s to 100s. Remember to help the wildlife by putting out containers of accessible water. Pans, dog bowls, buckets, small pools … anything that is refillable and reachable. If the container is large enough, like the small plastic pool I have here, place some branches in it so if smaller critters fall in, they can climb out safely.
