Celebrating 10 years in the Business

On August 22, 2011 I started my first day at All Seasons Travel. I could not have been more excited to start a new career and in something I love which is Travel. I had tried to get a job in Travel when I came back from traveling all over Europe for 4.5 months after college in 2001. 911 had just happened so there was no opportunity there. After a few jobs in Graphic Design and 3D Modeling, being a middle school Art Teacher, and then selling my artwork all over the southeast, the Travel job was calling to me. I secured an entry level position with All Seasons Travel and could not be more ecstatic. I remember during the first week I looked to my mentor, Borden Burr, and said, “I am actually getting paid to look at hotels all day! This is great!“. I used to search hotels all of the time before then and now it was my job! Fast forward and I have now been in the business for 10+ years. My work Anniversary was coming up and I knew it but somehow missed it as I was booking a trip. When I am working I pretty much become engulfed in each project so the work Anniversary came and went. I had even thought about it months before and then it just passed by. I guess that happens when we love what we do. It never feels like work to me. I am so happy to share fabulous destinations with all of my clients. And I thank them for being there for me. Without my clients I really cannot share my passion of Travel. I also thank all of the Hospitality Industry, my host agency Travel Experts, and all of the great supporting agents. Here’s to ten years and the best is yet to come.

I am a sucker for a beautiful swimming pool and Cabo knows what they are doing when it comes to a great pool! So I’m flashing back to 2016! Cabo is fantastic and it just keeps getting better! Flashback Friday to Jackson Hole and the Tetons with my good friend Brooke! We had so much fun looking for moose and I think the total count was 13! Jackson Hole is my favorite mountain town and once you go there you’ll see why. Great people, food, and scenery! And remember, if you go horseback riding make sure you go the last day because you might not be able to walk! 🤣😳

Clients are calling me and asking where are people booking? Well they are booking Arizona! So, I’ll throw it back Thursday to October 2017 on our trip to Sedona and Scottsdale. We had so much fun we can’t wait to go back, and I have a client going two years in a row! Golf, swimming, scenery for days. And you can check off the Grand Canyon too! Gotta love me some Arizona. But better book soon it’s about to sell out!

Flashback Friday to my 2013 December river cruise, Paris, and the Côte d’Azur. River cruising is so fun and laid back. You just show up! I love seeing all of the little towns and really getting the feel for the country you are in. And you can always add a few days before to get over jet lag and enjoy the sites, and a few days after too! Who is ready to go on a river cruise? Me 🙋🏻‍♀️ which river do you want to cruise? The next one I want to go on is the Danube where I can see Vienna and Budapest! Europe is opening up. It’s time to book 2021 Fall and 2022!
