“There are a few little-known facts about our security team. We wear roughly 20 pounds of safety gear during eight and 12-hour shifts, covering a few miles each shift. The security team is not large, however, we still handle about 100,000 calls a year. This year, we’ve been approved to hire additional positions to handle security needs at our community clinics. Our goal is to have our own security professionals at all the community clinics by the fall. We’re also in the process of hiring crisis stabilization officers (CSOs) who specialize in de-escalation and will be responsible for calls associated with behavioral health and behavioral emergency response (BERT) team calls.

Every week, there’s a new challenge that offers growth and teamwork. We take pride in communicating with patients and staff using compassion. We do whatever we can to fill in the gaps and needs, like offering a wheelchair to a patient who’s struggling with walking, guiding someone who’s lost to their appointment, or comforting someone who just lost their loved one.”

“Every driver who transports a child or children under the age of 18 years old in a motor vehicle is required to have the child or children restrained in a child safety seat or seat belt. We provide a lot of complex services- dispensing lab test results that help the hospital to provide quality patient care.
