Azure Standard had this great deal on pears! So… I have some pears to work up, today!

Who wants to see what I’m going to do with some of my pampered chef tools/toys today? ☺️
WHAT am I making with these pears?! And WHAT PC items might I use?

Guess!

Join my sister’s PC party to see more. ☺️
A couple recipes might even be included!

I have a limited (4 1/2 dozen) of:

NEW!!

Salted Crispy Crunchy Peanut and Rice Bars (pictured first)

$36 per dozen, $20 per 1/2 dozen or $4 for a single bar. $10 flat rate shipping on whole or 1/2 dozens, or 2 or more single bars. $4.50 shipping and handling on orders of one 1 bar, only.

Ingredients: roasted peanuts, crispy rice, collagen, peanut butter, erythritol, water, maple extract, vanilla extract, salt, butter flavor, monk fruit extract, chocolate coating (chocolate chips; erythritol, stevia, cocoa butter, vanilla)

These are very good! My kids like them. I like them. We are enjoying the crisp and crunch factor, plus nuts, plus chocolate!

We do have a disagreement: I want them less sweet and salty! They like them as is. If you love salt you may love these. 😃

Disclaimer: These bars are as is, and cannot be returned or refunded.

Also still available: 2 dozen dipped and drizzled coconut almond bars. (Pictured second)

Coconut Almond Bars: (dairy free)
Ingredients:
Coconut, almonds, collagen, creamed coconut, monk sweet + blend, water, cacao butter, vanilla salt. Coating, erythritol and stevia sweetened chocolate, cocoa butter

“The best laid schemes o' mice an' men / Gang aft a-gley.” Robert Burns

And then? ☺️

You wing it! ☺️ Feeling grateful for all the little things you’ve been able to accomplish, that you can reap from at the moment!

😴🛌5 hours of sleep and up at 4:00 AM to accompany my husband for doctors appointments/possible medical procedures. No time to cook, or plan much.

1. I was able to go grocery shopping a few days ago .. have some fruit to take. ✅
2. When I made soup, I cut my celery sticks and used the less desirable parts of celery in the soup! Celery gets packed, along with a small jar of peanut butter. ✅
3. My 11 year old organized her own diabetic kit, and packed lunch, with my minimal help.✅
4. Soup put in container and jar for our lunch. Oops did we forget to load that? ❌
5. Never mind, my 11 year old also packed lettuce, cheese, avocado, mayo and mustard for wraps. We could do that and buy a bit of lunchmeat for lunch if needed for wraps! ✅
6. I set some roasts out last night, for the crockpot for supper! ✅ I didn’t have time to wash the roaster from using it last night. ❌ Girls need to feed rabbits and don’t have time, either. ✅❌I have a 16 year old son who can do that.. supper should be waiting tonight! ✅

I’m not super mom.. I’ve often wished to be. 😝 But, I guess the thing I’ve learned is that all those little moments DO add up, the things you DO get done, the people you love and teach. When some things don’t work out, when things aren’t perfect, we keep doing our best, we rely a bit on our children (reaping what we’ve taught them), we use use our brains and what’s left of the work of our hands… even if it’s leftovers, we purchase things if/when we can afford to, we make the next best choice.

And we go and have a good, healthy, happy and blessed day! ❤️

Special! (Until the first of February!)

I’ll be featuring my new egg noodles and my vanilla wafers! ☺️

My theme is forget me not flowers, and remembering that we are loved and not forgotten by God, plus grace vs lust and loving ourselves in a godly way.

As always. We’ll have daily accountability, challenges and printables.

Would love to see you there!

Most of my meals are.. well, just put together..

I do plan a menu, daily: and often it will say ‘salad’ or sandwich, or soup.

But, it’s when you start digging through the fridge (and freezer!) that creativity happens.

What do you have? Well, THAT’s happening! 🙂

I kicked my shoes off and let them go down the slide first.

I sat at the top of the slide, with my 3 year old on my lap, too afraid to go down and feeling too fat and height sensitive to back up and go back down with my 3 year old… who wouldn’t go down without me! Stuck.

“Go, Mama, go!”

I kicked my shoes off, so my bare feet could grip the curly metal slide, and slow our descent! But we made it down! And it wasn’t that bad after all. My three year old laughed in glee! I didn’t go again, though!

I’ve made my share of posts about grace, about doing less, about fatigue, a lack of strength.

I’ve asked, “Why can’t God heal me? Why doesn’t diet ‘do it’ for me”.

It seems the harder I try, the more my health declines.

But, lately, I have been feeling better.

The thought came through my mind as we played in the park, today, I’d like to have a tall swing set at home. I’d like to have a membership to a pool and take the kids swimming once a week.

It was followed with, “Is this what it means to feel good?! Is this why other moms do these things more frequently? Is this what LIVING could feel like?”

My battles aren’t over. My journey to health still continues.

But, I want to offer you hope today. Because, tomorrow can be better than today. ❤️
