M.A.C.C. Hosting 5K Run for Veterans
Marsh Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a 5K run for Veterans on Saturday, June 1, in Mayville City Park. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with the race beginning at 9 a.m. Interested individuals can pre-register at www.mayvillechamber.com.

It's time to meet another Marsh Area Chamber Board Member! You have probably seen this member at any and all events in Horicon. Mary Ann and her family are strong supporters of all events in the area!

Mary Ann Eidem works at the front desk at Horicon Family Chiropractic, where her husband, Jack, and son, Steve, practice together, serving the community’s health needs through chiropractic care.

They have been members of the Chamber most of the years that they have been in practice, which dates back to 1991.

Mary Ann has been on the board about 15 years, and has seen the board turn over a couple times, with many retiring or relocating.

Mary Ann has watched different activities evolve over the years, especially Cookies and Milk With Santa, which is now held at Horicon Schools and utilizes the talents of our high school kids. "It’s always such a joy to see the happiness on the kids’ faces as they decorate their cookies and wait their turn to sit on Santa’s lap. Every year, we creatively worked around a new theme for decorating."

In her own words, Mary Ann says "I joined the board , wanting to support our community and get to know the other business members who call our community home. We really provide so many activities that pull people together, creating camaraderie, which is the fabric of a robust community. We all help with whatever we are able to. If you want to become more involved in your community and get to know your fellow business people, come join us!"

Thank you Mary Ann for your service and dedication to our Chamber Board throughout the years! We can always count on your help wherever we need it. We love that your family supports so many organizations and events in the area.

We had fun at the Horicon Lions Club Safari Dinner at the Horicon Legion! We are proud to support our local Lions Club who does a lot for the Horicon Area- check out the new Horicon Lions Dog Park being constructed at River Bend this spring!

As prom-ised, we had a great night out at the Dodge County Humane Society Puppy Prom fundraiser! We want to give a Big thanks to all who sponsored, attended and supported this event. Our local humane society helps hundreds of dogs and cats find new homes every year which helps improve the mental and physical health of many families in Dodge County. Wallace the French bulldog won king and Arrow the lab mix won queen for the Mutt Strut dog show.
